Classification of Edit Categories in Machine Translation Post-Editing: English-Czech Language Combination

Today, a translation job does not only mean transferring content from one language to another by utilizing one's own knowledge of two languages and subject matter expertise. Today, translation often means working with suggestions from various resources, including machine translation. The popularity of machine translation post-editing (MTPE) as a form of translation is growing. That is why this sklil should be acquired by translation students prior to entering the market. In order to work with machine translation efficiently, not only knowledge of the basic principles of how machine translation engines and translation technology work is needed, but also being able to assess the relevance of each linguistic edit with regards to the assigned instructions and purpose of the translated text. The aim of this master's thesis is to analyze linguistic edits carried out during an MTPE job from English to Czech. Identified edits are then classified, resulting in a list of linguistic edit categories in English-to-Czech MTPE. KEY WORDS MTPE, PEMT, post-editing, machine translation, classification, edits
Sledování vybraných pramenných vývěrů v okolí Rožnova pod Radhoštěm

This diploma thesis deals with monitoring of selected headwater springs of the cadastral area of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. At the springs were measured water parametres each month. It were water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, profuseness and air temperature. There were also realized four laboratory analyzes. They were measured values of conductivity, nitrates, orthophosphates, manganese, sulphates, irons and chlorides. The results are interpret using graphical and tabular outputs. At four springs are designed minor changes. At the Rysová II spring is designed complete treatment. The treatment is includes construction of a new spring, seating area, information boards and total access of this place. All adjustments encompass charges and funding options of fountains.
Social adaptation of the persons dependent on narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and poisons

Besides describing a brief history of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and poisons including definitions of selected addictive substances, the thesis focuses on addictive behaviour, medical treatment and social assistance for persons addicted to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and poison-dependent people. An essential part of these people's treatment is their follow-up adaptation back to normal life, which is often very important. The chapters describe the particular service (medical and social), including examples that help individuals with their problem and also to adapt socially, or adapt to something. In the practical part it is due to the respondents and their life stories clearly shown, what is the way back from the survival of individuals with drug addiction to everyday life.

This thesis aims to translate ten selected columns by Tim Lott from English into Czech. The columns were published in The Guardian from 2012 to 2017 and they deal with family life and society. The second part of this thesis provides a commentary comprising of the analysis of the source text, description of the selected method of translation, typology of translation problems and translation shifts which occurred during the translation process. Presentation of Partners on Petr Čech's Football School 2010

Title: Presentation of partners on Petr Čech's football school 2010 Objectives: The objective of this dissertation is to evaluate the partners' presentation at Petr Čech's football school 2010. The is work trying to come up with the recommendations for organizing company SPORT INVEST Group, how it is possible to strengthen the partners' presentation and how to get a tool to maintain old partners and acquire new partners. Methods: The main method is interrogation by questionnaire. Work uses also observation and interview. Data obtained from these methods result in the SWOT analysis. Results: The dissertation shows that the most important thing for the connection to really work is to activate the sponsorship. The approach to the partners' presentation must be innovative. Monitoring of extensive perennial plantings based on Průhonice destined to shady and semi-shady conditions

The bachelor thesis deals with the assesment of development extensive perennial´s beds created in Dendrological garden Pruhonice in 2014. Those perennials are determined for shady and part shady conditions. In the literary part are the theoretically described general characteristics of perennials and simultaneously natural sites of their occurrance. Attention is focused mainly on shady and part shady stations and extensive planting perennials. The main practical part of this thesis monitors and evaluates various mixtures extensit perennials, used on 26 flower beds in the Dermatological garden in Pruhonice. Attention is focused mainly on shady and part shady stations. Obsearvation took place during the year of 2015. We were evaluating the vitality and the aestetic appleal of the flower beds. The flower beds were evaluated from April to December in 12 prescribed terms. The main parameters were total score, colour and structure of flower beds. Based on these parameters that were evaluated, the best mixture were of Český venkov I. Part of the thesis is also comparing perennials beds from various locations; Dermatological garden in Pruhonice and perennials nursery in Hlavenec. In Hlavenec the best evaluated mixture was Schattenglanz against Český venkov I from Pruhonice. Detailed photo documentation from observation is recorded in attachments
Zvláště chráněné druhy v MZCHÚ Moravskoslezského kraje

This bachelor thesis is focusedon analysis of specially protected species in small-scale specially protected areas of Moravian-Silesian region. In the Czech Republic is over 2000 small-scale specially protected areas (over 100 of them in Moravian-Silesian region). The number of this areas increas every year and nobody know what we protect in these areas. There is any summarywithinformation how many special protected species are in specially protected area in the regions or in the Czech republic. In many cases areas are neglected in terms of care. In the Czech republic exist special teritorial protection and special species protection too. Therefore, this bachelor thesis was developed. Its target was to find out species which are protected in this areas using care plan of small-scale specially protected areas. Compile summary of species individual areas and assort them into categories of protection according to complementing notice 395/1992 Sb. The result is a graphical outputs. Its represent occurence of species from different viewpoints.
