Matoušek, David ; Hálková, Jindřiška (advisor) ; Konopáčová, Eva (referee)
bakalářské práce v AJ Author: David Matoušek Tutor: Mgr. Jindřiška Hálková Title: Overview of physiotherapeutic approaches in influencing fascia Abstract: In the theoretical part of the thesis is first described the fascia including: definition, embryology, histology, pathology and its connection with the management of postural stability. Physiotherapeutic approaches used to influence fascias are presented and briefly described. The practical part of the thesis deals with the influence of postural stability in three patients with central hemiparesis after the therapeutic influence of the fascial system by the Fascial Manipulation® method. For objective evaluation of the effect of therapy on postural stability, I used the Physiosensing platform from ©Sensing Future Technologies. As an additional monitored parameter, I chose the active range of motion (hereinafter referred to as aROM). Out of three patients, two experienced short-term improvements in the postural stability and aROM parameters while the third experienced long-term improvements. Keywords: fascia, physical therapy, fascial manipulation, postural stability, central hemiparesis
Ergonomics and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders in dentistry - focusing on dentists and dental hygienists
Bečková, Kateřina ; Konopáčová, Eva (advisor) ; Hálková, Jindřiška (referee)
The aim of this work is to describe the issue of ergonomics in dental practice and evaluate its compliance among Czech dentists and dental hygienists. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with risk factors affecting dental practice and the consequences of non-compliance with correct ergonomics. Furthermore, it deals with ergonomic aspects from the individual positions of the dentist or dental hygienist, through the ergonomic arrangement of the work place to the appropriate working time layout with regular breaks used, inter alia, for performing stretching and compensation exercises. In the practical part, the working conditions and habits of dentists and dental hygienists were mapped on the basis of the questionnaire in terms of ergonomics and their awareness of ergonomics was ascertained. Furthermore, the occurrence of musculoskeletal problems associated with the performing of their profession was mapped and the results compared with domestic and foreign studies. In combination with literature information, educational material was created as an output, showing release, stretching, and compensation exercises to balance muscle imbalances.

BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT First name and surename: Barbora Jakovcová Supervisor: Ing. Eva Konopáčová Title of the bachelor thesis: Possibilities of influencing the pain of the shoulder joint trough physiotherapy techniques aimed at axial system. In patients with specific sports load. Abstract: Possibilities of influencing the pain of the shoulder joint trough physiotherapy techniques aimed at axial system. The target group, were active volleyball players. Three patients, with pain in the shoulder area, were participating in total five meetings, in which were included four therapies within one month. The main goal was active work with axial system without using shoulder, in order to find out, if those two structures influence each other. The other goal was elimination of pain. In the theoretical part was described anatomy and kinesiology of shoulder girdle and axial system, then biomechanics of volleyball spiking, shoulder dysfunctions and physiotherapeutic techniques focused on this specific issue. In the practical part are included three case reports of patients. The consequences are based on subjective evaluation of pain and on functional tests. Key words: kinesiology, biomechanics, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, back school, volleyball

BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT Author: Vendula Nováková Supervisor: Mgr. Martina Havlová Title of bachelor thesis: Physiotherapy Focused on Physical Activity Intoleration in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Abstract: The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is written in the form of literary research. It begins with a brief introduction to COPD, etiology, pathogenesis, epidemiology, and classification. Substantial part is devoted to clinical manifestations of the disease. Furthermore, it deals with physical activity in patients with COPD, which is the central topic of the work. Last but not least, lung rehabilitation and treatment options are mentioned. The practical part of this work is focused on influencing the intolerance of physical activities of a patient with COPD. I set up a therapeutic unit to increase physical exercise tolerance. I verify the effectiveness of the therapy in the form of a case report, which contains the input and output examinations. The result is not only a positive effect of this therapy on physical exercise tolerance, but also on other symptoms that are often associated with this disease. The discussion explains how the results could be improved and how to make the therapy more effective. Key words: Chronic obstructive...
