Software for Online Warranty Claims
Pololáník, Petr ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the theory of creating modern web applications. Various technologies that are commonly used are analyzed. Thesis mainly deals with creating specific application for processing Warranty Claims. The application serves as a service for eshops.
Algorithmic Accompaniment Composition
Vinš, Jakub ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Kolář, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with problems of computer music, especially with generating accompaniment to an existing song in MIDI format by means of artificial neural networks. Existing methods of algorithmic music composition are presented in the beginning. Followed by problems and their solutions connected with the conversion of MIDI files to matrices, which are suitable as an input for neural network and their inverse transformation. Subsequently are proposed, created, optimized and evaluated models which generate saxophone and piano accompaniment by means of feedforward and recurrent neural network. At the end model generates accompaniment to my own song as a form of a test.
Deep Book Recommendation
Gráca, Martin ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the field of recommendation systems using deep neural networks and their use in book recommendation. There are the main traditional recommender systems analysed and their representations are summarized, as well as systems with more advanced techniques based on machine learning. The core of the thesis is to use convolutional neural networks for natural language processing and create a hybrid book recommendation system. Suggested system includes matrix factorization and make recommendation based on user ratings and book metadata, including texts descriptions. I designed two models, one with bag-of-words technique and one with convolutional neural network. Both of them defeat baseline methods. On the created data set, that was created from the Goodreads, model with CNN beats model with BOW.
Augmented Reality Buildings Visualisation for Android Platform
Hlavnička, Ivo ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on implentation of an Augmented Reality for the Android Platform and its practical usage in architecture, mainly for rendering of building designs into real enviroment. It deals with problems of acquiring location and orientation of device, filtering these values and conversion of global coordinates into the Cartesian coordinate system.
Algorithmic Music Composition
Automatic People Counting from Panoramic Photography
Blucha, Ondřej ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Veľas, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with automatic people counting from panoramic photography. This is very useful for counting large number of people, such as on the stadium or on the concerts. It consists of the two parts. The first one is image stitching, which process the images by the feature-based methods. The second part is people counting using face detection, where were used Viola-Jones detector. The ideal setting of parameters for used methods was experimentally selected.
Competition in Sports Betting
Potoček, Patrik ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis describes design and implementation of mobile application for iOS, which allows its users to compete in sports betting. The uniqueness of this application rests in new point of view on sports betting where users compete with each other and do not have to face the risk of financial lost. The principle of this competition rest in creation of ticket which consists of individual bets on sports events and placing this ticket to game rooms for fee in form of virtual coins.
Virtual Waiting Room for Medical Practice
Majola, Richard ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Kolář, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to develop virtual waiting room at a doctor as webaplication, made up through development environment Laravel with using PHP languageand MySQL database system. The final aplication allows people to register into the system and log in to waiting queue without having to be physically present in the waiting room.
Process of User Experience Improvement of Internet Portal
Henek, Ondřej ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The goal of my thesis was to improve user experience of web portal for sharing files among students. After studying the field of user experience, I made user research using methods like interview, open card sorting and analysis of user behavior on the portal. Then I have designed a solution using modern techniques for user interface design. I gradually implemen- ted the solution while testing it's usability. The final evaluated user experience measured by standard methodology proved, that I reached the set goal. The users are no longer getting lost on the webpage and they work more effectively.
Study of bioceramic materials on the base of calcium phosphates
Kolář, Martin ; Maca, Karel (referee) ; Cihlář, Jaroslav (advisor)
The literature search on the topic of Bioceramic materials focused in layered materials based on calcium phosphates was written up. Based on knowledge obtained, experiments of preparation of calcium phosphates layered materials based on calcium phosphates by spin-coating method focused in optimalization of layer application conditions were designed and carried out. Experiments of preparation of hydroxyapatite bulk ceramics by uniaxial pressing followed by heat treatment were also performed. Prepared layered and bulk ceramics were characterized from bioactivity point of view by testing of their interaction with simulated body fluid.
