Comparision of the musical component of the Good Method in the Czech and Polish versions

The subject of the bachelor thesis is a comparison of the musical component in the Polish and Czech versions of the Good Start Method. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the detailed characteristics of the method, history and spread of the Good Start Method in Poland and the Czech Republic. It follows the common features and differences of both versions of the method. It deals with the role of music and musical activities in the Good Start Method and in the educational process. It takes into account the peculiarities of psychomotor and musical development of preschool children. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to the comparison of the musical component in the Polish and Czech versions of the method, with special attention to the problem of matching the rhythmic components with the movement of the child's hand when drawing a graphic pattern. The thesis uses for this purpose a detailed analysis of the musical factors of the songs presented in the Polish version of the Good Start Method. In comparison, it uses Milena Kmentová's conclusions from her research on the musical component of the Czech version of the method. Analysis of teaching materials in the field of music education for children 3 to 6 years and their use in practice The theoretical part of the paper summarizes the current knowledge about the concept of music education in kindergarten, describes the musical ability and position of musical activities in the Framework curriculum for pre-school education. Furthermore, this work characterized the components of music education, such as singing, instrumental music and movement and listening activities. The practical part consists of two parts. The first section contains the mapping of the current situation of teaching materials for preschool children. Research method was a questionnaire survey, which was determined by width and source of musical materials that teachers use in practice with preschool children. The second part is methodical and includes songbook in which the notation of specific songs that appear when working in nursery schools. Development of music and movement choreography for preschool children using my own didactic tools

Master's thesis addresses the implementation of didactic tool to musical movement activities of preschool children in kindergarten with respect to the integrative nature of education. The first part of the thesis is covering theoretical side of the important aspects of child development at the age of five to six years. Further it deals with the specifics of the development of musicality in preschoolers, especially focusing on instrumental side of the music. It highlights the musical creativity that flows from the principles of Orff School. Musical creativity is one of the objective of the thesis second, practical part. Here thesis research music educational project whose main component is a methodical set Cup Song that contains suggestions for practical usage. Experiment, observation and structured interview are used as methods of research that is focused on verification of the Cup Song impact on a musical and personal development of the child. Use of Orff's musical instruments in non-musical activities at nursey institutions

The aim of my bachetor's work is to characterize and to outline thein limes within non-musical activities at nursery institutions. Besides, the work explores if the more frequent use of Orff's instruments may improve pupil's rappost towards the instruments. All these activities are adapter for children of pre-school age. The work also contains the appendix related to the use of worksheets or images.

ANNOTATION: This bachelor thesis deals with music and movement activities targeting the cultivation and refinement of certain types of locomotor movements of preschool children in kindergarten. Two stages of research monitors andevaluates learning the dance steps: march, side gallop, running and double hop-step. The research took place in a normal kindergarten classroom with children aged four to five years.

The theme of the master theses is the application of music and movement in the search options and ŠVP and the search for possibilities and ways of developing knowledge and skills of reading and writing prior to the child before entering the school through music and movement activities. Acquiring language skills in preschool children is realized through integrated teaching with appropriate psychological aspects. Experimentally verify the connection of music and language skills. It will be appropriate material for educational use in kindergartens.

4 Summary Exploring the musical preferences in relation to other aspects of human life has a long tradition. The present work is focused on exploring musical preferences with regard to personal value system. The research was designed as mixed method using questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The research sample consisted of 18 pupils aged 16 years. An important part of the research was music questionnaire that tried to clarify those genres, that are not familiar to respondents. Results of the music questionnaire were used as the basis for selection of respondents according to the preferential groups and to compare these groups in relation to certain musical attitudes, home musical environment and above all value system. The overall results of the research point to a very slight tendency to group certain specifics of the respondents which prefer hip hop, metal and classical music. On the contrary, results show a demonstrable impact of home music environment in shaping musical preferences. The unexpected outcome of present study is finding that listeners using the music questionnaire rated more positive the same genre of music compared to rating genres only by their concepts about each genre. TITLE: The Heritage of František Sedlák within Disciplines of Didactics of Music Education and Music Psychology. SUMMARY: The thesis deals with life and work of František Sedlák, who is known as a teacher, musicologist, choir conductor and musician. The objective of the thesis is to provide Sedlák's biography and give a thorough overview of all his publications. In his articles, papers and other publications, he writes mainly about musical development of a child, musical abilities and skills, psychology of music, problems of children's singing and didactics of music at primary schools. A separate chapter is dedicated to authentic memories of Sedlák's colleagues, which were collected specially for the purpose of this thesis. There is a CD appended to the thesis, where nearly all Sedlák's articles published in various professional journals can be found together with a few pictures from his life. Bachelor thesis will examine the influence of the family on the musicality of the preschool child. The theoretical part will summarize current knowledge on the musicality of a child under the age of 6 years. The practical part will focus on research in kindergartens. Using the questionnaire will be collected information about current conditions for the development of musicality of children in a family environment.
