Mixed-use building in Brno
Koždoň, Jakub ; Procházka, Martin (referee) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is a newly built mixed-use building in Brno. It is a four-storey building without cellar. The building is located on a corner plot in an urban part of Brno - Židenice. In the 1st floor there are three business units. On the other floors are a total of 11 apartments. One apartment is located in the courtyard. It is designed for people with limited mobility. The vertical structures are of the ceramic blocks Porotherm. Ceiling structures and staircases are cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building is insulated with contact insulation system ETICS. The roof is warm flat. The project was processed by computer software AutoCAD 15.
Monolithic reinforced concrete detached house
Koždoň, Jakub ; Holešovská, Anna (referee) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is a newly built cast-in-place detached house in the village called Křepice u Hustopečí. It is a double-storey building without cellar. The shape and height position of the house is adapted to vertical alignment of the ground. The house is designed for four family members. The main entrance to the building is from the north side in the first floor level. The garage for two cars is a part of the house. The main residential rooms are situated to the south and east side of the building. Vertical load-bearing structures are made of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete as well as staircase. Partitions are made of clay blocks. The floor structures are composite steel and concrete structures and the roof is mono-pitched. The dominant elements of this detached house are big windows leading to the garden and connecting the house with the surrounding environment. The project was processed by computer software ArchiCAD 16.
Optimalization of power supply for LED light sources
Koždoň, Jakub ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work focuses on description of function, analysis of degradation process, measuring lifetime and design thermal and electrical driving circuit for LED. Lifetime power LED basically depends on their working temperature. So some methods for measuring and determine LED lifespan and impacts which affects their lifetime are going to be described. Driving circuits are one of keys of element lamps. Their characteristics can affect lifetime of all lamp. So some properties and impacts of circuits for driving LED's and their functions which are necessary need to know in design will be described . I'll also catalogue some circuits which are suitable for that and show particular design power supply for LEDs and it's realization.
A light source with variable intensity
Koždoň, Jakub ; Mojrová, Barbora (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work is focused on description how the light impact human live, description of light sources and finally design and construction of light source with adjustable colour temperature and luminous flux. In introduction is mentioned the process of vision and how the light impact humans. In next part is characterization of currently used light sources, their construction, properties, benefits and drawback with their main parameters. Important part of this chapter is more extensive description of light emitting diodes with their operational parameters. The last two parts is focused on design and measuring the parameters of created light source with adjustable colour temperature and luminous flux and evaluating the results.
