Status of Deputy of the Czech Parliament in legislative process
Kočí, Kristýna ; Bureš, Jan (advisor) ; Wintr, Jan (referee)
The main purpose of my thesis entitled "The legislative process - the role of Members of Parliament" is to analyze the process of preparing, making and passing laws by the Parliament of the Czech Republic, focusing on the role of Members of Parliament in the legislative process (including comparisons between members of the coalition, opposition and non- attached) and provide a comparison theory, therefore, the possibility of the constitution and other laws and actual practice.
Diet system from the perspective of macronutrients and micronutrients
Kočí, Kateřina ; Šišková, Ivana (advisor) ; Starnovská, Tamara (referee)
The aim of the thesis: The aim of this observational study of non-interventional nature, was to map the representation of macronutrients and selected micronutrients in the menus served to patients suffering of gastritis as well as other nutrition diets. Additionally, to research and review the dietary systems in healthcare facilities of the Czech Republic, in order to compare the obtained data with recommended nutritional intakes, as recommended/stated in the issue "Reference Values for Nutrition Intake". The purpose is to evaluate, whether both types of the diets follow the recommended values. Methodology: The source of the data for this thesis were the menus distributed to patients following the recommendations of norms related to gastritis and rational nutrition diets for the period of one week. By applying the "Nutriservis PROFESIONAL software" the content of studied macronutrients and selected micronutrients in the daily menus was determined in the collected data. Results: Ten selected healthcare facilities from six regions in the Czech Republic participated in the research. It was determined from the obtained data, that insufficient presence of fiber, wrong balance, as well as the amount of unsaturated and saturated fatty acids along with high amount of sodium were the key malpractices,...

Význam bobovitých rostlin při ozelenění vinic
Kočí, Klára
This bachelor thesis was written at the Faculty of Horticulture in Lednice, Department of Viniculture and Wine-making, Mendel University in Brno. The work deals with the theme of the importance of the species of plants in the landscaping of the vineyard. Subtopics are divided from the importance of greening after the best representative of greenig mixtures. In the beginning of my work, I focus on greening as such. The following is a subtopics of the nitrogen fixation and the importance of nitrogen for plants. At the end of my work, I focus on each individual family and their representation in greening mixtures and usability of each species of Fabaceae. I finally joined the research before the crop values certain species of Fabaceae plants in terms of nitrogen fixation

Under the framework of this PhD project, a study on chromatographic behaviour of selected azaarenes on octadecylsilica stationary phases during their separation by reversed phase liquid chromatography was developed. The main goal was aimed at an application of the basic RPLC principles on the retention behaviour of azaarenes including the effects such as peak tailing, peak broadening, irreproducible retention or strong retention on a stationary phase. This study was particularly focused on basic azaarenes, also called acridines, which belong to a group of persistent organic pollutants providing mutagenic and/or carcinogenic activity. The retention patterns were studied on a group of eight acridines that are often present in environmental samples polluted with polycyclic aromatic compounds. The mixture of acridines was separated under isocratic elution conditions on three octadecylsilica stationary phases using two different binary mixtures as a mobile phase. Evaluation of the surface properties of the selected stationary phases was firstly performed, followed by the separation experiments. The structure of the experiments was designed to evaluate the effect of three different factors on the retention behaviour of acridines: properties of a stationary phase, composition of a mobile phase and physical-chemical properties of acridines. The treatment of the results was based on the capacity factor values providing the best fitting and repeatability of data, but other parameters that evaluate thermodynamic and kinetic aspects of the separation process were also given. Simple correlations between the three factors and a character of retention mechanism of acridines on the given separation system were found. Application of this knowledge simplifies an optimisation process and helps to solve common separation problems for acridines, but also for other basic analytes displaying similar physical-chemical properties (Mr and pKa).
Sol-Gel Derived Au-Enriched TiO2 and TiO2-ZrO2 Photocatalysts and Their Examination in Photocatalytic Reduction of Carbon Dioxide

Considering the aspects of preparation of gold-based photocatalysts and gold photocatalysis, it is worth a mention that it is more complicated issue than in the case of other noble metals due to the gold crystallinity. In this contribution some critical aspects of the gold photocatalysis will be discussed. Au-supported TiO2 and TiO2-ZrO2 photocatalysts and their pristine counterparts were prepared by using the sol-gel process controlled within reverse micelles environment and by impregnation under vacuum. All photocatalysts were characterized by OEA, ICP/MS, N2 physisorption, XRD, TEM/SEAD and UV-Vis. The performance of laboratory-prepared photocatalysts was examined in CO2 photocatalytic reduction and was compared with the catalytic performance of commercial TiO2 Evonic P25. Logically, the determined physicochemical and optical properties of photocatalysts were correlated with their catalytic performance and some interesting aspects of gold photocatalysis were revealed.

The aim of this work is to assess the effect of particle size on photocatalytic reactivity of TiO2 exemplified by the photoreduction of CO2 by water. As the particle size decreased higher methane yields over the TiO2 nanoparticles under the illumination of the light were obtained. Results were compared with yields of mathane over Degussa P25, which in non-porous. We demonstrated that photoreactivity of Degussa P25 was lower than all tested TiO2 nanoparticles.
