Access system with Ethernet interface
Knotek, Martin ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
The access system with the Ethernet interface is presented in this diploma thesis. Access control system is based on the RFID technology. Each identification unit reads the users card number and sends the request to the server other the network. Server checks the card number and sends the answer. The doors are opened. The first part of this diploma thesis deals with the theoretical description of the access control systems. All used technologies are described in this first part of this work. The second part of this thesis describes hardware design of the RFID identification unit with the Ethernet interface and microcontroller Rabbit. The last part presents designed communication protocol. This protocol supports AES secure communication standard. The control program of the identification unit and to the software design of the database and the server application is made and described in this work too.
Methods for Coloring Nodes in Multigraf
Knotek, Martin ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with algorithms for verticies coloring and their application to the coloring elements of electrical low voltage grid. Result of this thesis is a program, which displays progress of coloring five implemented algorithms on a selected graph. The graph represents electricity distribution network in a city.
GPU-Accelerated Design of Optically Generated Ultrasound Using Binary Amplitude Holograms
Knotek, Martin ; Vaverka, Filip (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
In this thesis, we deal with the possibilities of the acceleration of scientific computations using the graphical processing unit. The term scientific computation in this context means an algorithm, which computes binary holograms that are used to generate ultrasound. We will concentrate specifically on the design of the hologram, focusing at the speed we can achieve when computing the surface of the hologram. For this purpose, we will use two popular parallel data processing platforms - CUDA and OpenMP. The surface design pattern of the hologram is important due to the fact, that it determines the hologram’s specific physical characteristics.

North Bohemian coal basin, its former, present and future situation
Knotek, Martin ; Slavíková, Lenka (advisor) ; Petrášek, František (referee)
The aim of the dissertation is to outline the possible solutions to energetic situation connected with the Czech environment policy for the area of North Bohemian coal basin. An effort to refer to former and present power situation, its impacts on this area (e.g. employment) and its alternative facilities, which influence political decisions. The dissertation tries to answer to question, if there are nowadays sufficient fields for negotiations among the coal companies, communities, ČEZ and government. The piece is focus on problem of proprietary rights, expropriation of subjects, theirs remuneration and deals with government decisions. I'll try to analyse the situation during negotiation on the part of loser and winner to the extent of regional and national.
