The topic of my work is space and its influence on our perception. I am interested in how this perception changes during time. I create small interventions that can remain overlooked as through they are on visible sites. The choice of particular interventions is based on my subjective experience with the location - which in this work is the building of our school. With my interventions, I intend to intensify the spectators consciousness of space and time - „here and now“ - and the complex perception the environment. Using photographic record, reflections on variuos surfaces, and point of view, I work with time and space. The main question for me was whether is there a way to „catch“ a moment and project it back into his site.

Our Křížová Street

The topic of my diploma thesis is connected to my previous studies at faculty of architecture. My intention is to explore very undesignable organic development of urban spaces, but for an architect it is difficult and unusual to work with because of standardized planning process of public spaces. Using art based research I am trying to find, define, and prove existence of mental space that complements material shape of urbanized areas. As a locality for experiment I chose a street I live in for five years, and simultaneously had a wretched destiny – the Křížová Street of Old Brno district. As a piece of diploma project I present a lecture and lecture noteshowing – results of abstract contemplation gained by research in the locality. The aim of lecture is to encourage audience in ability to percieve and trust in existence of mental space in a way I described it.

In my master thesis named Goodbye piece I explore food and fine arts as two individual creative processes. I notice the differences and similarities between them and based on my finding I create an installation artwork and text documentation.

Potter Wasp

The work deals with the topic of migration and subsequent integration of the migrant into society, his feelings of nostalgia, and homesickness. Potter wasps and their way of life are similar to humans in some aspects. The work likens the potter wasp's individualistic way of being and the construction of clay vases for their descendants to human immigrant mothers building space and conditions for their children in the new country.

The Working Title: Things I Have Not Done

My bachelor thesis deals with the studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, and with unrealized projects. These are works that remained as ideas in my mind, and that I started but have not yet been fully realized. The material for this work is in the form of texts, these lyrics are slightly poetic memories of my thoughts, the reconstruction of memories, influenced by the current state of my mind. I created a portfolio of my unrealized projects visually looking like the real portfolio, that was required to be produced during the last four years of my studies. The work that I am presenting is a confrontation of those two portfolios like instalation.

This work touches sensitive questions about the sense of life during pilgrimage of fiction figure. Significant for a search like this is individual’s revolving around his own axis with an outcome as feelings of vanity leading to emptiness. Mind then phases between madness and bitter self-awareness. As a conclusion figure resigns for his ideas of his own prominence. Turns to God where he finds satisfaction in softness and humbleness of heart.

physicality of painting

A Coatrobes is an object about painting, about a big body. About the mutual interweaving of color, stroke, stains with the material of linen canvas. And the most of Coats are attached on the chipboard, which copies the final shape of the canvas. The canvas is attached to the table with Velcro, which allows KH to unclip from the boards and gives the possibility of wearability.

Camouflage

Masters thesis works with concepts such as home intimacy, safety, system, etc. During the period from 16.1.2012 to 12.3.2012 author secretly penetrated into the apartment their parents and disrupted by subtle interventions to break the routine like their home. Secretly watched the behavior and rules which operate on her parents (with their parents she dont live). The intervention provoked to a specific form of interaction between author and her family.

Thesis exhamines the role and purpose of lie in post-truth age in the life of individual person as well as in the life of sociaty. The action oscillates between performance and happening, through these media author and in the same time tour-guide presents his own and his family and friends lifes.
