The aim of the bachelor thesis is the design and creation of manufacturing documentation DC drive for the tracked vehicle model with remote control, its design, programing and inspirit. To create a manufacturing documentation it’s needed to be familiar with the design program for printed circuit boards Altium Designer. Program of the microprocessor will be created in CodeWarrior development environment in the C language. To design circuits were used generally datasheets of components. The proposal consists of several functional peripheral units that provide various functions needed. For control the circuit is used a digital signal processor aimed at applications in the motor drives.
The inverter for arc-welding

This diplom thesis theoretically deals about principle of pulse welding current source. Work explains operation principle of the single acting transmit converter used in realized construction and mention the others examples of converters types. Goal of the work is design individual parts of source : input filter, pulse transformer, output inductor and power semiconductors components. Thesis also contains description of the regulation circuitry of the converter, auxiliary power supply and pre-driver for power transistors. If everything will be all right prototype of the source will be assembled and measured. Results will be compared with theoretical assumptions.

Traction inverter for an electric bike

A drive design for an electric bike with brushed DC disk motor is proposed in this thesis. Especially the design of a DC/DC converter with DSC control is described. The converter can operate as step-down and step-up too. Minimum dimensions and sufficient power for riding without human assistance were the main demands on the design.
Three-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation algorithms

The main theme of this bachelors‘s thesis is to introduce readers into the algorithm of generating three-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulation. Main attention is concentrating to methods of generating Pulse width modulation method such as comparate PWM modulation technique and space modulation of voltage vector SVM. The functional units of algorithms are analysed and described from the basics. In addition, this project describes the basic analog solutions and even the implementation of the PWM modulator into signal processors DSP56F800.
Forestry cableway remote diagnostics

This bachelor's thesis focuses on description of electronics and controllers of forestry cableways Larix. The stress is laid on controlling system among others working with GSM modem securing the communication with remote monitoring centre. The analysis of the need of local as well as remote diagnostics leads to definition of requirements for communication channel that needs to be secured. Applying GSM net and communicate through standardised industrial modems connected through port RS232 is suggested as the most effective solution. The main part of the dissertation includes particularities and possibilities of communication through GPRS service. All-embracing communication channel including the server that transfers data packets among particular clients is designed and programmed. The final part summarizes achieved results and outputs of testing compiled solution including data throughput and response. Simultaneously based on acquired experience some procedures for final implementation in evolution and production of new types of cableways are recommended.
Batteries for independent traction

The aim of this work is a review of literature of all types of batteries designed for driving in an independent traction (transport). The various types of batteries with them and compare based on their parameters (weight, cost, energy density / kg) to select the appropriate type of battery to drive electric cars, wheelchairs, electric bikes and scooters. The thesis is not a practical product or supplement. This is only a theoretical analysis of the issue.
DC/DC step-up converter for notebook

Given bachelor’s thesis devoted to a proposal and implementation of transducer STEP-UP for supplying of notebook in car. Introduction presents dividing of switching power supplies followed by a choice and a proposal of power supply. In this work we can find the specific proposal of inductor, the proposal of electronic connexion and the proposal of PCB layout. There is a software EAGLE used for the design of PCB layout. In the last part of work there are particular courses of current and voltage that characterize power supply pictured. The work contains measured load characteristic of switching power supply loaded by notebook as well. Notebooks need to have quality power supplies that is why there was a special attention paid to the quality of supply and its electric parameters.
Design and Simulation of Single Phase Active Rectifier

This thesis deals with single-phase active rectifier, strategy of control and simulation of its model. In the beginning of this work a principle of rectifier is described along with transistor switching system, which has impact on shape of input current. Dimensioning of rectifier for assembling model and designing of control, including phase-locked loop and regulators follows. In the end assembled model and its simulation is described.
