Bankruptcy Prediction Modelling in the Agriculture Business

This master’s thesis is focused on problematic within the prediction of bankruptcy of companies operating in the field of agriculture in Czech republic. First part consists of introduction to companies that do business in field of agriculture and it describes bankruptcy models that are used in academicals sphere. Other part of thesis is divided into two sub-parts. First part is dedicated to an application of data into models of bankruptcy and their evaluation. Second part is focused on improvement of the best model and its main goal is to maximize the precision of the bankruptcy.

The aim of this Master thesis is to determinate the value of the company VISCUMA PLASTIC, a.s. by using yield valuation methods as of 31. 12. 2019. The theoretical part of thesis is focused on getting acquainted with the concepts, procedures and methods used in the valuation of the company. Practical part begins with the introduction of the company. Further processed strategic and financial analysis and created financial plan. Finally, the valuation itself is performed using the yield valuation methods.

Bankruptcy prediction modelling in the environment of V4 countries

This diploma thesis is focused on the construction of a new bankruptcy model designed for small and medium-sized enterprises in the construction industry in the environment of the Visegrad Four countries. The first part of the thesis is focused on defining the concepts of bankruptcy, bankruptcy model and their placement in the historical context, followed by a description of selected bankruptcy models, a brief description of the construction industry and an analysis of constuction sector. In the practical part, the reliability of selected bankruptcy models is tested and then a new bankruptcy model is constructed.

The theoretical part describes the options of financing and analysis used to evaluate the actual situation of the selected company in the practical part are individual analyzes, which are performed and serve as a basis for the final part, where the most suitable method will be selected.

A Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan

The thesis is focused on the draft of a financial plan for the engineering company PBS Turbo s.r.o. for the period 2020-2023. The first chapter of this thesis consists of theoretical aspects, which are necessary for making a financial plan. The following part is practical, dealing with the company's introduction and its strategic and financial analysis. Based on the results of the analyses, a financial plan in an optimistic and pessimistic variant is proposed in the final part, including their evaluation.

The Performance Evaluation of the Company using the EFQM Excellence Model

The diploma thesis is focused on the performance evaluation of a selected company using the EFQM Excellence Model. The theoretical part defines the concept of performance and methods of its measuring. The analytical part is devoted to the introduction of the selected company and the evaluation of its performance through the START model, which is based on the EFQM Excellence Model methodology. Based on the results of the evaluation, strengths and areas for improvement are identified, from which proposals for measures to improve the company's performance are based.

A Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan

This thesis is focused on the proposal of financial business plan for the company UO TEX. The first part of this work deals with the theoretical background necessary for making a financial plan. Then, the work brings the introduction of the company and its financial and strategic analyses. The final part of the thesis proposes a financial plan for the period 2019 - 2022, namely in two versions - optimistic and pessimistic ones, including their evaluation.
