Alpine trekking in the offer of Czech tour operators

This bachelor thesis deals with the offer of selected Czech tour operators focused on the alpine trekking. The first part defines the main theoretical terms such as tourism, trekking and alpine trekking. The following part is dedicated to the definition of a tour operator and its product - a package tour. The final part looks into the selected tour operators, discribes them and compares their offer of organized package tours from different points of view and also compares organized package tours to unorganized tours.
Spanish Gastronomy in Tourism

The aim of the thesis is to characterize Spain as a specific destination of tourism industry in relation with gastronomic wealth, to describe a gastronomy in each autonomous region of Spain and to analyse current situation of offer of the spanish gastronomy in Prague. The theoretical part defines the terms tourism and gastronomy, characterizes Spain, its economic situation and contribution of tourism industry to economy of the country. The practical part focuses on spanish regions, their traditional gastronomy and on holidays and festivals connected with gastronomy. In conclusion, the thesis provides an evaluation of level of the spanish gastronomy in Prague. The method used for the analysis was mystery shopping and the authenticity of spanish dishes served in restaurants in Prague was evaluated by practical knowledge of the author.
Argentinian Gastronomy in Relation to Supply and Demand in Prague

The main focus of this bachelor´s thesis is to analyse the Argentinian gastronomy supply and demand in Prague, and to evaluate their mutual relationship. The theoretical part deals with basic terms and their definitions that provide a background for the practical part. The first chapter explains the importance of tourism, food-beverage services and gastronomy. The second chapter is devoted to the Argentinian gastronomy itself, its typical ingredients, traditional dishes and eating habits as well. The practical part of the thesis contains 3 chapters and it consists in analysing the "supply and demand" and in listing the final results from both analysis. Within the analysis of supply, the mystery shopping was made in 4 different Argentinian restaurants. Based on the results of the mystery shopping, the restaurants were compared. The demand for Argentinian gastronomy in Prague was analysed by own survey .The final chapter of the thesis sums-up the previously mentioned findings and it outlines recommendations and suggestions for particular restaurants.
The offer of the chosen travel agent

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to sum up the offer of a chosen travel agent Zajezdy.cz, a. s. The offer is divided by various aspects and includes a characteristic of own products of the travel agent which are used as the main competitive advantages. Another part is devoted to comparison with other travel agents and their advantages and a description of a website as the most important marketing instrument. Finally, the offer of the travel agent is evaluated by using the SWOT analysis.
Birdwatching tourism in the Czech Republic

The topic of the bachelor thesis was chosen because birdwatching tourism is well-known activity in other countries whereas in the Czech Republic it is a niche market which could be filled out by using right tools. The aim of the thesis is to find out if there is a potential of this activity in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of the thesis is explained tourism in general, its typology and detailed focus on rural tourism, wildlife tourism and then birdwatching tourism. The practical part consists of two chapters. In the first one are presented results of the survey which was conducted between Czech and foreign respondents. The second one focuses on a designed package holiday which is complemented by its calculation and itinerary.

This bachelor thesis named Business trips with a focus on transportation deals with basic principles of business trips, process of business trips, travelling compensation provided to employees and transportation at business trips. Aim of the work is to analyze business trips in one particular company and to find out if there is a kind of transportation which is more advantageous than the other types. This research was carried out separately for employees and for the company.
Contemporary trends in tourism

This BA Thesis deals with the contemporary trends in tourism. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse these trends and to find out the differences in using these trends between citizens of the Czech Republic and citizens of other countries. The issue at hand was researched using a survey. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated into the first of two chapters, which are indispensable in order to introduce he reader into to the issue of tourism. The practical part aims at the description of contemporary trends in the tree main areas of tourist services: accommodation, transportation and food and beverage. These trends are demonstrated on specific examples of Airbnb, Uber or themed restaurants.
Tourism and public administration

This bachelors theses focuses on the tourism and its public administration. Main objectives are to assess the influence of European union and its impact on the activities within the public administration of tourism in Czech Republic and on its current communication. Hypothesis is that the current tourism policy of Czech Republic is to a great extent regulated and thereby, its communication will not correspond with todays needs. In the first chapter are defined the key terms and explained the tourism policy as tool of public administration of this sector. The second chapter focuses on the public administration of tourism at the European and national level and the last one is dedicated to communication of tourism products of Czech Republic and communication tools used in the promotion.
Creating product (package tour) to chosen destination

The aim of this bachelor work is to create package tour to Pakistan with main destination Gilgit Baltistan, which is in disputed area of Kashmir. Parcial targets are to find out if the destination has the capacity in tourism in question of realization and localization factors. In first part are explained main important definitions of tourism. Second part includes introduction of the country and Gilgit Baltistan with evaluation of realization and localization factors. Third part describes reasons why to visit this destination and display creating tour package including connected characteristics. Fourth parth contains analyzis of czech travel agencies offering tours to Pakistan.
Tourism in a Chosen Region of Scotland

The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to find out and to assess the condition of tourism in a chosen region of Scotland. It is concentrated mainly on incoming tourism. The thesis focuses on characteristics of accommodation facilities, their classification and categorization. The theoretical part includes characteristics of the whole Scotland in general, describes preconditions for the tourism development and presents some organizations related to tourism. In the theoretical part, there is also a description of the chosen region and its attractions. Moreover, different statistics related both to the whole country and the chosen region were processed. Using the method of structured interview, three accommodation facilities were analysed in a certain location. The interviews helped to obtain more detailed cognition of local accommodation facilities and to identify advantages and problems related to tourism in the location. Thanks to the comparison of statistics and thanks to the own research, the condition of tourism in the region was assessed.
