Multi-objective Neural Architecture Search
Pivodová, Renáta ; Pilát, Martin (advisor) ; Kadlecová, Gabriela (referee)
Multi-objective Neural Architecture Search Bc. Ren'ata Pivodov'a Abstract Neural architecture search is a promising approach to automatic neural net- work architecture design, which can save a designer's work. The real world contains a lot of problems, which are time-consuming to solve even by neural architecture search techniques. A lot of these problems require architectures optimized according to different criteria such as quality, time of search, etc. In this work, we present two methods extending the CoDeepNEAT, a state-of- the-art neural architecture search algorithm. The Lamarckian CoDeepNEAT is the CoDeepNEAT enriched with weight inheritance implementation inspired by the Lamarckian theory of evolution. The Multi-objective CoDeepNEAT per- forms a multi-objective minimization of two chosen neural network objectives - the error rate and the number of floating point operations. Thanks to the base NSGA-II algorithm, the Multi-objective CoDeepNEAT searches for well- performing and fast networks. The methods are evaluated on the MNIST and CIFAR-10 datasets. 1
Cuba, The United States of America, media, Granma, The Washington Post, Cuban-American relations, ideology
Kadlecová, Gabriela ; Němcová Tejkalová, Alice (advisor) ; Šmíd, Milan (referee)
This bachelor thesis compares how American media, particularly The Washington Post, informed about important world events with the information published in the Cuban daily newspaper Granma. Observed time range is June 21 to July 21 2009. The Cuban daily newspaper Granma comes out worse in this comparison because ideology of the Cuban Communist Party is clear in the majority of its articles. Even tough the newspaper regularly published articles not burdened by ideology, for example about sports or culture, in many texts that appeared in the political section in the followed period, ideology was clear and they were not written in an objective way. Most tinted articles were published in connection with the "Cuban Five" and the coup d'état in Honduras. However, neither was The Washington Post fully objective: too much space was dedicated to some topics, which proves for example the death of Michael Jackson. A similar case represents the economic situation, to which even several articles a day were dedicated. In addition, it obviously gave priority to the United States of America and overlooked events in the rest of the world.
Legal Protection of Works of Copyright on Social Networks
Kadlecová, Gabriela ; Holcová, Irena (advisor) ; Křesťanová, Veronika (referee)
Legal Protection of Works of Copyright on Social Networks This thesis is focused on the legal aspects of the works of copyright protection on social networks. The thesis in its introduction defines the term of social network, in particular as the service of the internet service provider, and furthermore it deals with the nature of the contractual relation between the social network service provider and its user. The thesis deals with the definition of 'work of copyright' in relation to social networks, while the rights of the author to his or her work of copyright published on the social network are defined. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the possibility of rightful use of the works of copyright published on the social networks by other entities than authors of such works. The thesis defines the scope of the licences provided to the social network service provider, another users of the social network and the to another non-user entities. In relation to this the thesis is based on the terms and conditions of the currently largest social networks (in the first place it is Facebook, followed by Instagram and YouTube) that are establishing content of the contractual relationship between the social network and its user. In its final part the thesis deals with the legal aspects of an unauthorised use...

Kadlecová, Gabriela ; Veselý, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Krines, Vlastimil (referee)
The diploma thesis with the title "Media Presentation of International Relations in Czechoslovakia during the Cold War in the Czechoslovak Television" uses selected events in the defined period to show how much foreign policy of the Soviet Union influenced the Czechoslovak Television news. First, both Czechoslovak and Soviet foreign policies as well as media policy of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia are described, followed by a brief history of the Czechoslovak Television. The core part of this diploma thesis lies in the third chapter, where specific reports from the news of the Czechoslovak television are analyzed.
A Comparison of the Position of Muslims in France and in Holland
Kadlecová, Gabriela ; Havlová, Radka (advisor) ; Jeníčková, Martina (referee)
The bachelor thesis with the title "A Comparison of the Position of Muslims in France and in Holland" is concerned with the situation in which the confessors of Islam find themselves. First, the work assesses the immigration policies represented by France and Holland within the EU. Next, opinions on immigration policy claimed by the parties present in the French and Dutch parliament are evaluated. Third aspect is formed by the media, particularly the biggest newspapers. Activities of Muslim organizations in these two countries are also taken into consideration. Finally, a kind of synthesis is created which judges how these approaches influence the situation of Muslims in France and in Holland. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is not only to find the main differences between the positions of Muslims in France and in Holland but also to come up with characteristics common for Muslims in the analyzed countries.
