Sentence length distribution
Kašpar, Martin ; Hlávka, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Hlubinka, Daniel (referee)
In the present work we study whether it is possible to describe the lengths of sentences of a prosaic text by a probability distribution. We focus on negative binomial, lognormal and Sichel distributions and their comparison. We study Sichel distribution in detail, because it was introduced as distribution for description of bibliometric data. We also investigate estimation of parameters of all three distributions and then use the theoretical results on specific data (a few texts in Czech and English). Finally, we test the accuracy of the distributions and estimated parameters, using the results given in this work. 1
Geocomposite drainage for the purpose of drainage on transport infrastructure objects
Macan, Tomáš ; Zedník, Petr ; Stryk, Josef ; Vodáček, Ondřej ; Kašpar, Martin ; Hubík, Petr
This methodology describes in detail the design, dimensioning and application of geocomposite drainage for the purpose of drainage on transport infrastructure objects. In addition to conventional systems, such as drainage layers made up of unbound, permeable materials, geocomposites are increasingly encountered on construction sites. Drainage geocomposite is a geosynthetic with drainage function, able to drain water in the plane in which it is installed for this purpose due to its composite structure. It consists of a drainage core and core protection. Very little space is devoted to drainage geocomposites in Czech standards and technical regulations. Therefore, this methodology deals in more detail with the design and application of drainage geocomposites, summarizes knowledge and procedures from various, mainly foreign, sources and is intended to help their wider and technically correct use in practice. It gives details, sample sheets and specific examples of implementation that supplement the information given in the technical regulations for drainage. The methodology was prepared within project TE01020168 - Centre for Effective and Sustainable Transport Infrastructure (CESTI), with state support of the Czech Technology Agency within the Centre of Competence Program. This methodology is intended primarily for the transport infrastructure owners and administrators, designers and contractors of transport infrastructure objects.

The core analysis of cooperative games
Kašpar, Martin ; Kopa, Miloš (advisor) ; Adam, Lukáš (referee)
In the present work we study theory of cooperative games and their solution. We assume that all players may form groups and cooperate, and we will try to find a solution, a rule how to divide the profit of the group among individual players. We will focus on a core of the game, its description, theoretical results and methods for analyzing its emptiness. We also investigate core-center, which is one of the known options of choosing single profit division from the core. Then we will construct mathematical model of oligopoly together with method for counting characteristic function from real data. Finally, we apply the model on data from oil market. 1

Deferred tax according to Czech accounting standards and IFRS
Kašpar, Martin ; Ďurianová, Gabriela (advisor) ; Pelák, Jiří (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with deferred tax. It explains theoretical bases of its formation, various methods and manners of calculation, accounting, stocktaking and disclosure of the deferred tax in the financial statement. It analyses selected titles contributing to the deferred tax in detail, and it also engages in historical development of the deferred tax in our area. The thesis also contains extensive amount of textbook examples for better understanding of topic. The objective of the thesis is to analyse deferred tax according to Czech accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standard in the way, that reader could comprehend what the deferred tax is, why it is used, how it is calculated and afterwards reported in accounting.
Corporate Income Tax and its Demonstration in Accounting
Kašpar, Martin ; Cardová, Zdenka (advisor) ; Ščerba, Richard (referee)
The thesis zooms to corporate income tax and Czech accounting legislation. In first few chapters I deal with topics such as what the tax or accounting are, relationship between tax and accounting. Further I concentrate on regulation of the accounting and current accounting legislation of the Czech Republic. Attention is devoted to corporate income tax, deduction of tax base and how the corporate income tax is charged. Reader could find a separate chapter about long-term property or assets.
