Nepomucký, Jiří ; Miskolczi, Martina (advisor) ; Kačerová, Eva (referee)
The objective of the thesis "Labour mobility in selected European countries" is to analyze development trends of labour mobility and its determinants in 5 countries of the European union. Theoretical part deals with definitions of mobility which are necessary to comprehend analysis. Also includes consequences of labour mobility and process of legislative transformations, that had changed free labour mobility in the EU. Practical part deals with comparison of international labour mobility and labour mobility inside each country. Thesis also includes analysis of labour mobility trends from 2000 to 2010 and target analysis of European legislative changes. The counclusion of this thesis is that Europe union policy is filled with unfortunate paradoxes. On the one hand, there is very supportive policy of labor migration in the EU Member States, which does not show any improvement. On the other hand, there is the pursuit of complete isolation from the rest of the world, which in fact very effectively reduces the influx of immigrants and thus further weakens the potential of labor migration in the European Union.

Klubalová, Markéta ; Kačerová, Eva (advisor) ; Chodounská, Helena (referee)
The Czech Republic fights a declining birth rate as almost every European country. The declining birth rate is a phenomenon that affects the future development of a state. For several years it has been under the protection of natural reproduction with no changes in mortality rates. The birth rate closely relates to abortion. The development of abortion is affected by abortion laws. The first abortion law was issued in 1958 and the second in 1988. Another factor that affects the abortion rate and the birth rate is the use of hormonal contraceptives. This bachelor thesis is focused on the development of birth and abortion rates in the Czech Republic since 1960. It also focuses on problems of infertility and assisted reproduction. This bachelor thesis points out factors that influence this development.

History and process of migration from Turkey to Germany
Zákostelná, Lucie ; Kačerová, Eva (advisor) ; Řezanka, Marek (referee)
The main purpose of my thesis is to describe history and process of immigration from Turkey to Germany. The secondary aim is to provide a comparison of Turkish population, German population and Turkish ethnic community in Germany. The first chapter deals with immigration flows, their motives and consequences. Moreover, it is targeted on labor immigration, followed by their wider family members and later also asylum seekers. The thesis is enlarged by graphic charts showing developments of foreign population in Germany, specifically incoming Turkish people. The second chapter is devoted to the topic of foreigners and the process of gaining German citizenship. There are defined various instances of a way of becoming a German citizen. At the end of this chapter I provide a description of a group naturalized in 2009. This chapter is also supplemented with graphs showing for example numbers of naturalized foreigners and Turks in Germany. The third chapters is concerned with a comparison of Turkish population, German population and ethnic Turks living in Germany, or let us say people who immigrated to Germany and still have their Turkish citizenship, meaning they were not involved in naturalization process. Further on there is a comparison of those groups facilitating population pyramids. Further on I present some evidence of differences in age and sex structure in between years 2000 and 2010 in the particular populations. This part also provides the reasons, why the demographic structure of Turks in Germany is different. The closure of my thesis contains the comparison of the three populations in between years 2000 and 2007-2010 using mean age, biological generations and ratio of seniority. This is followed by economical generations and total dependency ratio then junior and senior dependency ratio. The conclusion of this thesis is that the ethnic Turks living in Germany is approaching its demographic structure to the Turkish population rather than German population. It is however expected that the next generations will be gradually approaching their demographic behavior to German behavior.
