Analysis of ventilation effect of radial channels in the rotor of electrical machines
Kratochvílová, Hana ; Marcián, Petr (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the determination of a ventilation effect of the radial channel, that is used in a rotor of an electrical motor. CFD simulations of the channel are done in Ansys CFX software. The first chapter explains the basic theory of fans, flow, thermomechanics, CFD and structural effects of rotation on the channel. The second chapter focuses on the determination of the fan curve, the power curve, and the efficiency curve. Different types of turbulence and fluid compressibility models are used for simulations and their influence on the result is evaluated. The third part evaluates the design of the radial channel from a structural point of view.
Analysis of the use of 3D slicer SW for computational modeling in biomechanics
Kratochvílová, Hana ; Marcián, Petr (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with a freeware program called 3D Slicer and its usefulness in the area of biomechanics. The introduction part describes the scope of the program and its functions. The next chapter shows a step-by-step modelling of a bone geometry using CT images and a comparison of geometries of bones created with different grayscale level using a program Gom Inspect. The last part focuses on importing geometries created in 3D Slicer, specifically femur and pelvis, into FEM platform ANSYS Workbench for preprocessing and defining femur’s stress and deformation characteristics.

The Conditions for Spontaneous Movement Activities for Children at the Lower Level of Primary School in a Housing Estate
Kratochvílová, Hana ; Dvořáková, Hana (advisor) ; Hronzová, Marie (referee)
The aim of this work was to find out and deseribe the conditions for spontaneous movement in the city and wether their needs and wishes are respected and wether the playgrounds correspond with the norms and the proposal of the specialist. The theoretical part deals with the role of the playground in children's lives, with creating of conditions for movement and with the influence on their helth. I have used seven different methods in my work: a questionnaire, a project method, an individual and group discussion with children, interviews with experts and architects, an analysis and controll of the conditions for movement, a systematic non-committed observation. I stated eight hypotheses to reach the individual partial goals. I supposed that transport attainablity of the playgrounds and sport grounds is within the reach of walking and means of transport. And that children prefer swimming and playing in wather to the games in the playgrounds, that children in the playgrounds miss the natural elements, that from all the elementa of play they will use the slide, the swing and the sand-pit and that this equipment will be considered as the elements which mustn't be absent. The result of the research isthe statement that the elements of play are in accordance with safety regulations ČSN and the demands of children...
Leisure Activities and Education of Elder Adults in Retirement Homes
Kratochvílová, Hana ; Šerák, Michal (advisor) ; Kopecký, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on leisure activities and education of elderly people in retirement homes. The aim of this work is to determine which leisure activities and educational opportunities are available to clients in these facilities. First, I present the theoretical definition of the term activation and its potential impact on the lives of older people. Leisure time is defined in this thesis and the most common types of leisure activities of older people are listed. These are described and set in the environment of homes for the elderly. Furthermore, I focus on the education of this target group, its importance and specifics, and also the possibilities of educating the facility's clients are listed. The thesis also deals with the way their coming to these facilities affects them. Qualitative empirical research takes the form of semi-structured interviews with activation workers. The aim of the survey is to identify the possibilities of activation in selected homes for the elderly in Prague with regard to their potential impact on the adaptation and quality of life of clients. Among other things, the results show that activation programs are considered an important factor in the adaptation of clients, and can have a positive impact on their quality of life. Attention is paid to local and...
Educational and Leisure Activities in Retirement Homes
Kratochvílová, Hana ; Šerák, Michal (advisor) ; Vojtko, Tibor (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on educational and leisure activities in retirement homes. The aim of this work is to determine what activities older people engage in most often. First, I present the theoretical definition of activation and its forms in relation to the elderly. Leisure time is defined in this work and the most common types of leisure activities of older people are listed. Furthermore, I focus on the education of this target group, its importance and specifics. The thesis also deals with the way their coming to these facilities affects them. The aim of the empirical research is to analyse educational and leisure activities in retirement homes in Prague and its surroundings with regard to which are offered and implemented most often and which are the most popular among clients in the subjective opinion of activation workers. The empirical research is carried out in the form of investigation of websites of these facilities and is supplemented by a questionnaire. Besides, the results show that volunteers often work in retirement homes and that activation programs are considered an important factor in clients' adaptation. Attention is paid to local and foreign research, which specializes on topics such as activation and leisure activities of older people or activation programs in...

The square net in the teaching of mathematics at primary schools.
KRATOCHVÍLOVÁ, Hana
The diploma thesis covers activities with the square net and their using in lessons of mathematics in the primary school. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical one. The first part deals with the Framework educational programme, modelling, using of square net and areas, which are developed by the net. The second part contains my own worksheets, which are aimed at the work with the square net and magnetic aid CUTS and their using during the classwork in the primary school. In the conclusion, the findings, which have been collected by attesting the worksheets in the classrooms, are presented and evaluated.
