1 Abstract The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to test passive vocabulary of preschool children with dyslalia. The age range for the passive vocabulary test is from four to six years old.The PPVT-5 (Peabody picture vocabulary test) test is used for testing, which is applied on the Czech language environment. The theoretical part of the work concerns the development of their speech, impaired communication skills, vocabulary and its diagnosis. The research part focuses on testing passive vocabulary and statistically quantifying the differences between individual age groups, genders, and finding out whether attending kindergarten has an impact on children's passive vocabulary. KEYWORDS passive vocabulary, impaired communication skills, speech development, preschool age
Konstrukce mutantních enzymů pro degradaci antropogenních polutantů
Kratochvíl, Jakub
Enzymes are naturally occurring catalysts with a broad spectrum of catalysed chemical reactions, and they therefore represent environmentally-friendly and economically costeffective tools in many industrial processes, bioremediation, biomedical and pharmacological applications. Among such biocatalysts belong haloalkane dehalogenases (HLDs), which catalyse the cleavage of the carbon-halogen bond of halogenated compounds, resulting in corresponding products – alcohols, halide ions and protons. Howe-ver, catalytic properties of naturally occurring HLDs very often do not fulfill reqirements of industrial applications which limits their practical potential. Methods of directed evolution and ratoional design are therefore often used to generate genetic diversity and cosntruct novel protein varaits with deired function. In this work, a protein engineering strategy was applied to improve catalytic parameters of haloalkane dehalogenase DhaA31 towards anthropogenic pollutant 1,2,3-trichloropropane.Formula clause:Please postpone publication of materials, methods, results and conclusions of this thesis for a period of 3 years. Stabilization and mobilization system as a modern form of human's health revitalization.
KRATOCHVÍL, Jakub
The topic of this bachelor thesis is the stabilization and mobilization system (SM system) as a modern form of human's health revitalization. Incorrect attitude, insufficient exercise compensation or unilateral encumbrance can lead to backaches which can be moderated or obviated by practising the SM system exercises. The first part of the thesis is consisted of a sufficient processing of theoretical basis concerning the matters and related information. The theoretical part concerns information about anatomy, functions, disabilities and muscle inequalities of backbone and SM system method which can be a solution of having backaches. The aim of the work was the verification of effectivity of the SM system and adopting the basic exercises by a group of patients having various back issues. The research had been conducting in the Svetlo Slunce studio under controllership of certified therapist Marcela Velkova. The tested group was consisted of twelve people aged from 9 to 55 years who were six months under the surveillance. The results are processed by method of comparison with the Dorn method on the first and last inspection. All the patients admitted that they got rid of the pains after practising the SM sytem exercises. The patients also adopted the method of correct breathing and the deep stabilization backbone muscles activation. Furthermore, most of the patients adopted the basic exercises of SM system with an opportunity of self-treatment. Thereby, the effectivity of the SM method was tested and led to fulfillment of the work's goals. The bachelor thesis can be used as an instrumentality of popularization of the SM system.
Directional antenna for 60 GHz frequency band
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to study the possibilities and problems of low-profile antennas and subsequently to design a directional antenna with spherical reflector for millimeter wavelengths. The theoretical part deals with basic information about horn and reflector antennas, and about SIW technology. In addition, the thesis deals with the specific design and modeling of the antenna using CST Microwave Studio. The simulated design achieved a sufficient bandwidth to cover ISM (57 GHz to 64 GHz) with gain 13.6 dBi at 60 GHz frequency. On fabricated antenna, the antenna impedance ratios were worse and the target bandwidth was not reached. Antenna gain was 14.33 dBi at 60 GHz frequency.
Retirement home
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is a project documentation of a Retirement home located in Prague in Novodvorská street. The building is designed as a stand-alone building with five floors of a rectangular ground plan with a receding fifth storey. The retirement home is divided into a public section - a pharmacy and a part for clients - accommodation, leisure time including facilities - a restaurant with a kitchen, a laundry room. The construction system is designed as a reinforced concrete monolitic skeleton with rectanguplar columns and the filling structures are made of ceramic blocks. The building is based on reinforced concrete footings. A waterproof concrete is proposed for the lift shaft, and the foundation sills are designed for the perimeter masonry. Roofing of the 4th and 5th floor is a warm flat roof. In the 4th floor roofing section, the roof is made as a concrete tiles paving. The main entrance to the building is from southwest and the access to the building is from the northwest side where there is a parking lot for employees and clients.

Reiniš, Daniel ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Kratochvíl, Jakub (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate the state of the landscape in the model part of the Skalice river basin and to determine the possible negative effects of intensive agriculture on the selected village of Smetana Lhota. Inappropriate melioration and high losses soil and nutrients from the fields were found in the model area. The research, which took place in the village of Smetanova Lhota, confirmed that intensive agriculture actually affects the inhabitants of the village. The findings are used to recommend how to approach to the revitalization of the landscape in the model territory based on the Complex landscaping. Approaches to revitalization the landscape can be used in similar forms on whole basin of the Skalice river. The landscape revitalization should reduce the eutrophication of the Orlík dam and restore its original character.
