Legislative Process in EU: Statistics and Overview

This bachelor thesis focuses on the legislative process of the European Union in terms of carrying out every single step of the process. The first part deals with the legislative process and its steps which are further analyzed along with the individual approval procedures. The second scheme of the application together with various kinds of statistics is described in the second part. The Third part deals with the description of the formerly created application for the depiction of created outlines, charts and statistics.

Model of communication system with the PLC channel

The aim of this work was to develop a model of a communication system with the PLC channel. The model contains different types of modulations with the possibility of their settings. The impact of a disturbance on different numbers of states QAM modulation has been evaluated. The theoretical part describes the PLC technology with its functions and the most widely used narrowband modulation.

Apartment building

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is design of apartment building in Moravská Chrastová. The land intendet for construction is located on slope in the eastern part of village. The building is designet as a free-standing, with one basement floor and four above-ground floors, while last above-floor is designet as a recessive. The building has 11 housing units, situated in above-ground floors. The basement of building is used as technical and storage premises - there are a technical room, cellars, warehouse, bicycle room, pram room, drying room, cleaning room and common room. All housing units hava access to balcony or terrace. The building is connected by a three-arm staircase adn a barrier-free elevator. The apartment building is covered by flat roof devidet into two parts: a walkable, whitch is used as a terrace for apartments in 4th floor and non-walkable part. The vertical construction systém is made of brick masonry and in the basement floor, whitch is adjectid to the ground is made of reinforced concrete wall. The horizontal construction system consists of filigree panels, whitch are solidified.

The Administrative building

The aim of the thesis is to develop designs of an office building at the level of building permit application. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the architectural and structural designs. The building is situated on the eastern edge of Letovice. It is designed as a three-story detached building with a basement. The roof is flat with multiple hight levels. The floors are connected by stairs and an elevator. The underground level includes utility rooms. The first floor contains a sales area with a showroom, offices, and sanitary facilities for customers and employees. The second floor contains offices and sanitary facilities for employees. The second part includes designs of HVAC, including lighting and rainwater management system. Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery is provided by two ventilation units in utility room. Heating and cooling is provided by two air-water heat pumps. The heat is distributed through floor heating, while cooling is achieved through fan coils. Photovoltaic plant consisting of 35 panels is located on the roof. The third part of the thesis focuses on thermal and cost assessment of two variants of assembly detail of the parapet wall and thermal insulation of the flat roof. I chose the traditional composition because the reverse composition of thermal isolation freezes in winter.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the creation of an investment strategy for Nachmelená Opice s.r.o. In the first section, topics such as management decision making, the financial analysis of the enterprise, enterprise investment, and ETF funds are discussed. This is followed by the application of these knowledge in the determination of the financial health of the company and the subsequent formation of the draft investment strategy, which will be in accordance with the parameters of the results of the investment questionnaire such as willingness and the amount of risk undertaken with the expected length of the Company's investment horizon and management requirements.

Hydrogel Scaffolds for Tissue Engineering

Bone tissue engineering attempts to mimic the natural behavior of hard connective tissues. Currently, there is an active research and development of new functional materials in this field. The main direction in the treatment of bone tissue defects is the use of biodegradable composite materials based on biopolymers enriched with an inorganic component, possibly in combination with a cellular component. In general, hydrogels play an important role in tissue engineering due to their properties, as they can respond relatively well to changes in environmental conditions and are used as a suitable medium for cells to grow and proliferate. Structure of hydrogels also allows nutrients and waste products to diffuse, and the last but not least, thanks to this they can also serve as drug carries. A major advantage of hydrogels is that they can be injected with subsequent in situ gelation. In this work, physically cross-linked hydrogels based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and hyaluronic acid (HA) in different volume ratios enriched with hydroxyapatite (HAp), an inorganic component inherent to bone tissue, were compared.
