Sparta and Slavie between Wolrd Wars

Title: Sparta and Slavia in the interwar period Objectives: The aims of this work are the analysis of the history of Sparta and Slavia in the interwar period, the comparison of both clubs in individual aspects, the consolidation of published into logical cathegories and the discovery of new information and interesting facts about the topic. Methods: In this work I used historical methods. It is primarily a direct method, and then also progressive and biographical and statistical methods. Archival sources and contemporary literature were researched using these methods. Results: I managed to compare the sports side of both clubs in the interwar period and the impact of the clubs on the national team. I also mapped the development of the stadiums and the fan base. I also described the topic of professionalism. In all areas I complied the published literature, which I supplemented with additional information obtained from the study of archival sources. Experimental models of increased physical activity for cardiovascular research

This thesis provides a critical review of experimental models and protocols of increased physical activity that have been used for various purposes in cardiovascular research in small laboratory rodents. The thesis describes their physiological and pathophysiological effects and evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of using each model to study the adaptive mechanisms and beneficial effects of physical activity on cardiovascular disease. The use of physical activity in cardiovascular patients or people with cardiovascular risk factors is also mentioned. A review of exercise stress tests used to detect the degree of experimental heart failure of various etiologies and specific examples are also included. Czechoslovak volleyball foreign relations 1948 - 1971

The main goal of this dissertation is to compare the influence of international politic relations on foreign sports relations and to examine the conditions of national volleyball teams' trips abroad during the period of the so-called state socialism. During this period, the world was divided due to the Cold War and Czechoslovakia came under the Soviet influence. The period of unification of physical education and legislation that influenced the functioning of sports and physical education units, including organized volleyball, is an important milestone of the work. The focus is on the activities of the CSTV, the instructions and recommendations it issued and which athletes had to follow when travelling abroad. At the same time, it is necessary to highlight the activities of the International Volleyball Federation, which was founded by the Czechoslovak Volleyball and Basketball Association. The key point is its expansion and influence on the development of global volleyball rules, which were partly formed by its members, who significantly changed the style of the game. In my thesis I focused on using the information I found to describe the beginnings of women's ice hockey in our country and in the world, and at the same time outline how it has changed and developed since its beginning. In the first chapters I focused on women's hockey in our country. That is, on its history, system and division of league competitions, as well as who and what decides. In later chapters, I focused on women's hockey in the world. 6 Abstract Title: Public opinion research of visitors of the Olympic Park Sochi - Letna 2014 Goal: To evaluate the importance of the Olympic Park Sochi - Letna 2014 based on public opinion of visitors. To propose conceptual improvements for the following Olympic parks during the Summer and the Winter Olympic Games. Methods: Quantitative questionnaire was used as the main method to determine public opinion. Qualitative in-depth interview with representatives of sports institutions and analysis of documents from internal resources served as a secondary analysis. Results: The Olympic Park Sochi - Letna 2014 was visited mainly by sport active people from Prague and Central Bohemia. Most of them were satisfied with the concept of the park and they would visit this kind of park in the next years, for which they would recommend bigger capacity and fitting refreshments. People came to the park to play sports and to try lesser known sports. They think that the concept of Olympic park would help to motivate public to practise sports. Title: Canoe sprint in the Czech Republic 2004 - 2008. Objectives: The aim of the thesis has been to draw up the history of the Czech sprint canoing between 2004 and 2008. Methods: Standard methods have been used in the thesis, especially the chronological method. The actual gaining of materials has been achieved through a combination of the direct, indirect and progressive methods. Results: The content of this work deals with the organizational and competition activities of sprint canoeists in the Czech Republic in the given period. Freestyle BMX and olympic games

Tittle: Freestyle BMX and Summer Olympic Games Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is the analysis process of Freestyle BMX acceptance to the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics with evalution. In addition, this thesis defines the historical movement of the Freestyle BMX candacy and evaluate the conditions (criteria) setted by the International Olympic Committee for the adoption of new sports into the Olympic Games program. Methods: This thesis is a theoretical work that has a descriptive and analytical character so the main method is an analysis and study of documents, literature and web sources. The information was analyzed and comprehensively processed. Results: Results indicate that Freestyle BMX didn't satisfy all the criteria for acceptance of a new sport into the Olympic Games program. Freestyle BMX should not be accepted according to the criteria set into the Olympic Games program. Freestyle BMX was accepted on the basis of other facts according to this information. Title: Revenues of the Organising Committees of the Summer Olympic Games Objectives: The main objective of this work is an analysis of the main revenues of the particular Organising Committees of the Summer Olympic Games. The ticketing is primarily analyses in this work. The second objective is to adjust and calculate a mechanism for transfer of currency. Values in national currencies are converted to CZK 2010, these values reflect the true value of what would have been payable in 2010 if the Olympics Games were held in the Czech Republic. Methods: The work uses methods of secondary analysis of documents for the data collection. The basic aggregate consist of the Summer Olympic games held 1896-2008, the estimates from London (2012) and Prague (2016,2020) are add to comparison. Variables are: revenues of the OVOH, revenues from television rights, revenues from a sponsorship, revenues from the TOP, revenues from ticketing, the average price of the sold ticket, the most expensive and the cheapest tickets at the Opening ceremony and number of the total sold tickets. The convert mechanism is used for convert and calculated with the exchange rates, the purchasing power parities and the consumer price index.
