CECE 2016. 13th International Interdisciplinary Meeting on Bioanalysis
Foret, František ; Křenková, Jana ; Drobníková, Iveta ; Klepárník, Karel
This year the meeting included full texts of 32 oral and 78 poster presentations delivered by participants from 17 countries. The attached conference proceedings, edited by highly cited scientists, documents the quality of the meeting. Similarly to the previous years the lectures were given by outstanding, highly cited, scientists. The list of speakers as well as more detailed information about the conference can be found on its permanent web at www.ce-ce.org.
Development of microfluidic tools for cell analysis
Václavek, Tomáš ; Křenková, Jana ; Foret, František
In this poster we present our microfabrication approach for fabrication of glass microfluidic devices which we combine with 3D-printed parts in order to develop an easy-to-use instrumentation for single cell analysis.
HILIC separation of AETMA-labeled glycans on a wide bore silica-based monolithic capillary column
Šesták, Jozef ; Křenková, Jana ; Moravcová, Dana ; Planeta, Josef ; Kahle, Vladislav
In this contribution, we report the separation of AETMA-labeled glycans on a wide bore (320-μm i. d.) silica-based monolithic capillary column modified by [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]-dimethyl-(3-sulfopropyl)-ammonium hydroxide.
Simple route of caspase-3 FRET sensor synthesis using “click chemistry”
Lišková, Marcela ; Křenková, Jana ; Klepárník, Karel ; Pazdera, P. ; Foret, František
Programmed cell death or apoptosis is regulated process of cell suicide. The central role in apoptosis play cysteine proteases called caspases. Caspases recognize tetra-peptide sequences Asp-Glu-Val-Asp (DEVD) on their substrates and hydrolyze peptide bonds after aspartic acid residues. Various techniques for the determination of caspase-3 are commercially available e.g. Enzyme Linked Immuno-Sorbent Assay (ELISA), Western blotting or flow cytometric analysis. The products of the cleavage can be detected by spectrophotometry, fluorimetry, chemiluminescence (CL) or ELISA. In this work, we suggested fluorescent sensor based on easily prepared Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET). We use very simple chemistry called “click”. This type of chemistry takes advantages of quickness, simplicity and cheapness. “Click chemistry” is based on usage of various functional group and cross-linkers to combine individual molecules together.
CECE 2015. 12th International Interdisciplinary Meeting on Bioanalysis
Foret, František ; Křenková, Jana ; Drobníková, Iveta ; Klepárník, Karel

Modelling of microfluidic flow-gating interface for two-dimensional liquid chromatography-capillary electrophoresis
Česla, P. ; Křenková, Jana ; Václavek, Tomáš ; Váňová, J. ; Vaňková, N. ; Fischer, J.
In this work, the finite element approach was used for the numerical evaluation of the fraction transfer process in on-line liquid chromatography-capillary electrophoresis two-dimensional system. The results of the modelling of microfluidic flow-gating interface were compared with the experimental data obtained during transfer of dye zone through the interface.
ZIC-HILIC monolithic capillary column coupled with MALDI-MS: A tool for glycan analysis
Šesták, Jozef ; Křenková, Jana ; Moravcová, Dana ; Planeta, Josef ; Kahle, Vladislav
In this contribution, we report analysis of glycans enzymatically released from bovine ribonuclease B (RNase B) and human immunoglobulin G (hIgG) combining glycan separation using the synthesized zwitterionic silica-based monolithic capillary column and off-line MALDI-MS detection.
Analysis of individual organelles
Václavek, Tomáš ; Manion-Fisher, D. ; Muratore, K. ; Taylor, T. ; Křenková, Jana ; Foret, František ; Arriaga, E. A.
This poster describes a method of organelle analysis using capillary electrophoresis instrumentation with high sensitivity laser induced fluorescence detection.
CECE 2014. 11th International Interdisciplinary Meeting on Bioanalysis
Foret, František ; Křenková, Jana ; Drobníková, Iveta ; Guttman, A. ; Klepárník, Karel
The issue contains conference program, full texts of the 38 invited lectures with short information about the speakers and their professional carreer, full texts of 113 posters.
Porous layer open tubular columns with immobilized trypsin for protein digestion
Knob, R. ; Křenková, Jana ; Petr, J. ; Foret, František
We have developed a monolithic porous layer open tubular (PLOT) column with immobilized trypsin for protein digestion. The PLOT column was prepared in a 10 (mikro)m ID fused silica capillary. Trypsin was immobilized on the monolithic surface and the developed enzyme reactor was used for protein digestion followed by on-line ESI/MS analysis.
