Statistical analysis of the Czech Republic foreign trade development since the accession to the European Union

Foreign trade plays an important role for national economy of the Czech Republic and represents one of crucial ways for keeping of internal economic balance. The submitted bachelor thesis deals with analysis of various economic indicators of the Czech Republic s foreign trade since joining the European Union (in the period of 2004-2015) including turn-over, import, export and their changes in the reported period. There have been changes occurring the territorial structure in the relation to the European Union and changes in the commodity structure. Time sequence of turn-over development of foreign trade has been analysed using statistical methods leading to the prediction of turn-over development for the next two years. Furthermore, there have been suggested recommendations for future development of the Czech Republic s foreign trade e.g. focus more on foreign trade with the third countries.
Development of Bělá pod Bezdězem municipality and its prospects

Bachelor thesis is dedicated to development thecity of Bela pod Bezdezem, that is located in district of Mlada Boleslav. Analysis of selected values has been done by using statistical methods. This dissertation deals with demographic indicators and with economy of the town. It follows development of the population, from the demographic point of view, and specify structure of population. In the other part of dissertation there is analysed economy of the village with focus on income and costs in followed period 2005 až 2014 and bigger investment in period 2009 až 2014 as well as revitalisation of city monument zone. Based on questionaire research there are evaluated opinions of population on their satisfaction with living in the village. Finally there are defined suggestions and recommendations for improvement of further development.
Evaluation of marketing communication

The focus of this thesis is the evaluation of marketing communication of a company engaged in the manufacture of doors and door frames. The aim is to characterize and evaluate existing marketing comunication showroom in Pisek, which is located in South Bohemia. This material consequently determines reccomendations to improve it. The teoretical part part focuses on defining the characteristic of marketing, communication and marketing communication goals based on the literature of theoretical knowledge. The second part of this thesis describes about the marketing communication across the company Cag Ltd. On the basis of unstructured interviews is illustrated using graphs and explains. It is proposed specific recommendations to improve the current situation.
Management of the patent process

The diploma thesis is dealing with Management of the patent proces, which it is main topic. It is characterized by process connected with the filing of the patent invention and subsequent management. The management of foreign patent process is analyzed for a particular company in terms of costs in specific countries. Theoretical bases pay attention to characteristics of the process and process management. This thesis i salso focused on the management of intellectual property, characteristics of foreign protection and possibility of enetring to foreign markets. My own work solution, which is based on the theoretical knowledge, cotains the characteristic of the company and its current status of the management at first. As a second thing, the analysis is perfomed for every phase of the patent management, basically for its filing, granting and subsequent maintaining. The overal evaluation of achieved results is done by the end of this chapter. Also, the directed interview with an executive director of the monitored company appered as an important contribution to this work. Results were used for the processing of the final evaluation of achieved results and recommendations, which determine countries with a possibility of extension of such a company patent, the determination of the maximum length of maintenance included.
Analysis of the Building Savings Market in the Czech Republic and its prospects

Building savings is a good way of financing citizens housing needs. This thesis deals with a statistical analysis of the building savings market in the Czech Republic. Using elementary characteristics of time series it analyzes the number of new contracts, including an increase in the target amounts since 2000, which shows the impact of legislative changes that have affected the product. In great detail it also analyzes the business results of several building societies in the years 2010-2015, which involves the number of new contracts, including an increase in the target amount, the volume of target amounts, the number and volume of new loans. Based on the behavior of these indicators in recent years a possible development in 2016 is predicted. The conclusion presents suggestions and recommendations for a further development of savings in a building society.
An analysis of the effect of rebates on the purchase behaviour of customers

The bachelor thesis deals with problems of consumer behavior in the context of sales actions in the Czech Republic. The thesis analyzes the way to influence costumers in their shopping habits by sales, discount days and websites selling vastly discounted things called slevomats. Data for the analytical part were acquired from the questionnaire survey, which was held within several days in September and November 2015. Through the questionnaire, it was possible to examine to which degree are costumers inspired by advertising leaflets, what forms of discounts are the most sought after, whether customers are using frequent discounts and are subject to buy things impulsively, if they are shopping in sales and discount portals. Obtained data are processed by using statistical methods to test relations between qualitative characteristics and as a result is identified how the discounts can influence the costumers behaviour.

The subject of Thesis "Managerial skills" is survey of managerial skills. Thesis is consists of two basic parts. Literary review describes the basic concepts and definitions from area of management, which are needed for his work and he should know them. The literary review is followed by practical part, which includes brief characteristic of chosen company. With use of questionnaire survey there is made analysis of managerial skills in chosen company. At the end of this part there are results of survey and they are compared between themselves and there are also drafting proposals for improvement of managerial skills.

The topic of the bachelor thesis are managerial skills. The main goal is to find a right solution that would lead to improve the level of the store manager´s managerial skills. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part contains theoretical knowledge gained by study literature focusing on the explanation of terms such as management theory or management. The first part also concern with concrete terms and divisions of manager, for example managerial functions or managerial roles. The practical part is devoted to introduction of company Rösler Praha spol. s r.o. and to research of managerial skills in the store. The analysis was performed by own observation of the current store manager and in-depth interviews with manager´s superiors and subordinates. In the last part are evaluated analysis results and alternatives, which could lead to the improvement of managerial skills in the store, are suggested.

Bachelor's thesis is composed of two parts. The first one is the theoretical, which is dedicated mainly to the basics of management, the definition of a manager and his personality, roles, functions and skills. Addresses the relations and attitudes of the manager towards the employees and the possibilities of the management and leadership of subordinates, but also possible errors which the manager can commit. The second part is practical and will be based on the theory in the first part. This section characterizes the manager and his company. Further deals with the process of making the questionnaire, it presents the results found by questionnaire and proposes the improvement of the identified deficiencies.

The Bachelor thesis is devoted to a topic "Management skills". The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes briefly the stages of development from the beginnings till 21st century and levels of management from the first degree to the highest one which it is possible to divide managers into. It characterizes a profile and a manager´s personality which is considered to be a key factor on the way to a success in a modern management. It defines a term manager, characterizes managerial planning functions, an organization, a personal security, management and a supervision which managers carry out during their activity. It depicts managerial roles which are needed for a performance of a certain work in a relation to subordinates, superiors or colleagues. It describes requested skills of a manager who is actively involved in a managing of the business. In conclusion it characterizes a hierarchical structure of relations among individual jobs within organizing divisions and relations among divisions within an organization. The practical part represents a selected organization. By using a method of a questionnaire survey a selected group of respondents in the organization was given a questionnaire personally. Data were collected anonymously and evaluated. On the grounds of the answers in the questionnaires there were recommended improvements in managerial skills with a possibility of an application leading towards a strengthening of skills, a personal growth and a contribution of a development and meeting the targets of the organization.
