Complexity of social identity in relation to self-efficacy: analysis of hierarchy significance within a corporate environment
Křížová, Lucie ; Heider, David (advisor) ; Machovcová, Kateřina (referee)
In this paper, we examine the complexity of social identity in the corporate environment and its impact on individuals' perceived self-efficacy. We explore this relationship within the framework of a corporate hierarchy consisting of two identified groups: the BO group (non-technical and support experts) and the FO group (technical and business experts). The perceived prestige of these groups corresponds to a division between the high-status FO group and the low-status BO group. In the theoretical section, we discuss the definition of basic concepts to better contextualize them within the present issue. These concepts include social identity theory, self- categorization theory, the definition of in-group and out-group, and the status of groups. The aim of this endeavor was to investigate the relationship between the degree of identification with the in-group and perceived self-efficacy, how the relationship between identification with the firm as a whole and perceived self-efficacy manifests in the context of low-status/high-status groups, and the relationship between an individual's identification with the in-group and their identification with the whole group. To achieve this, we conducted a questionnaire survey in a specific firm (N=64), using methods that track subjective self-perception in an...
Creative centre - Koprivnice
Křížová, Lucie ; Zdvomka, Ondřej (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
Right in the city center, there is a plot with old factory halls. These halls are fascinating and have great potential. But now, they are more of an obstacle. They form a barrier, they are in poor condition, and it robs the city of its values. In my diploma thesis entitled Creative Center in Kopřivnice, in addition to the design of the creative center, I will also deal with how to use the beauty and potential of these old halls, further, how to create beautiful and modernized buildings with a new value. I want to open the whole area, to create a place where people would like to meet and where various functions will be mixed- a place for fun, relaxation, culture, education or even just a shopping or walk. The work is very diverse - from the urban design of the entire plot, through the revitalization of old industrial halls and the layout of a new building, to the interior design of a new gallery.
The Municipal Library of Frýdek-Místek
Křížová, Lucie ; Nový, Vítězslav (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The library has a lot of features. In addition to the most important, which is to lend books and work with them, it is also a place to meet people, rest, work, study and have fun. This multifunctional space in Frýdek - Místek is still missing. The building is designed on a plot that has great potential, located in the center of Místek and is currently a parking lot. This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the library, which combines all the above functions and creates a pleasant space for spending free time. There is also a modification of the surrounding areas, such as the square, park and parking.
Monitoring of mercury and methylmercury content in fish meat and evaluation of risks associated with the consumption of this meat
Křížová, Lucie ; Pořízka, Jaromír (referee) ; Diviš, Pavel (advisor)
Mercury and its compounds are one of the most toxic global pollutants in the environment. It occurs in all segments of the environment, and it attains the food chain ang human body by people consuming fish. The theoretical part of this thesis examines the characteristics of mercury, its occurrence, the roots of its pollution, and the toxicity of various forms of mercury. Consequently, the thesis delineates analytical methodologies applied to determine the overall level of mercury and chemical forms of mercury. The practical part focuses on monitoring the level of mercury and methylmercury in 12 extracts of fish meat. The analyzer AMA 254 has been used to determine the level of mercury and methylmercury in these extracts. Based on the level that resulted from the measurements, the thesis concludes a risk that correlates with consuming this type of meat.
Automated preparation of anti-COVID magnetic immunosorbent
Křížová, Lucie ; Svobodová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Smělá, Denisa (referee)
The target of the diploma thesis is the automation of the manual preparation of anti-COVID-19 magnetic immunosorbent. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the research processing of information about the SARS-CoV-2 virus causing the disease COVID-19. The basic characteristics of the disease, its causative agent, clinical picture, methods for detecting the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the human body, and treatment are described here. Furthermore, the principle of the LIS method is described here and the methods of its use in other areas of analysis are described here. The experimental part describes how the manually demanding batch method for antibody immobilization on magnetic particles was converted to an automated method in the Lab-In-Syringe (LIS) system. To convert the batch method to LIS, a series of experiments, optimizations, and searches for analogies were carried out to fully automate the method with minimal operator involvement. Using the device, we prepared anti-COVID-19 immunosorbents, which were subsequently tested using the PCR method on patient samples in the laboratory of the University of Pardubice with BSL 3 protection Keywords: COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, magnetic particles, Lab-In-Syringe, LIS

The diploma thesis deals with deployment of German army within ISAF strategy in Afghanistan. The deployment of military forces is one of the most discussed queries in German politics and among German public. The thesis analyses the development in Afghanistan from 2001 to September 2013. I define some criteria and according to them I examine, if Germany behaves in Afghanistan as civil power, for which is it considered. In the following part I deal with the development in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2009. I analyse the beginning of OEF and ISAF operations, mandate's extensions, the reasons for deployment in Afghanistan and the development of the security situation in country. The main part of this thesis is the deployment of German army within new ISAF strategy in Afghanistan, which was declared by American president Barack Obama in 2009.
