Dopad Průmyslu 4.0 na řízení dodavatelských řetězců

With an increasing globalization and cross-border trade the international logistics services started to play one of the key roles in the whole business chain. The Industry 4.0 brings new possibilities for companies to update the supply chain activities by implementing new technologies and systems. The aim of this work is to show the real impact on supply chain activity from implementing the new industrial revolution features, like Internet of things, Cyber-physical system, augmented and virtual reality, autonomous robots and cloud computing. With a help of three companies, Bosch, DHL and PwC the work will analyses the changes in supply chain procedures and various systematic digitalization of activities within the whole industry. Firstly, the theoretical part describes the logistics and supply chain scope of activity and the impact on business of companies among the international trade. Secondly, the Industry 4.0 creation and description will be providing in order to have a better understanding about this revolution. Third, analyzing the three-mentioned companies activity we will focus on real implementation of technological features into the supply chain processes. The analysis is conducted based on secondary data.
Business model in the era of Industry 4.0

Industry 4.0 is the current trend of automation and increasing digitalization of wide range of processes. This trend brings about a revolution in manufacturing technologies, but also has its challenges that influence the labor market. The thesis introduces the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) and provides the most important information for its understanding. It also allows to understand the specific characteristics of business models in the digital society and it clarifies the theory of maturity models. These serve as a basis for assessing the company's level of maturity in relation to Industry 4.0. The next section contains a proposal for improvement of the business model in food manufacturing company. For this purpose, the production process and related processes are analysed and the current situation is evaluated according to the Industry 4.0 requirements. Based on this evaluation, the problematic areas are selected and their specific improvements are proposed. In addition, the work includes a proposal of specific steps that a company must take to be prepared and take advantage of the era of Industry 4.0.
Analysis of goods distribution at promotional events

The topic of this thesis is the analysis of goods distribution at promotional events. By the promotion event in this thesis we consider actions of event marketing and the support of the sale in the place of selling. The aim of my thesis is the analysis of distribution and the optimization of current solution. The theoretical part describes the clarification of chosen terms from marketing communication and distribution. The practical part is dedicated to the analysis of goods distribution at promotional events of the company selling non-alcoholic beverages. In the end of the thesis I suggest the improvement of the current situation in the distribution considering the costs and time.
Optimization of empty packaging flow in automotive

The diploma thesis focuses on the optimization of the empty packaging flow in automotive. The aim of the thesis is to optimize empty packaging flow in warehouse area and to analyze the possibility of implementation a scanning system and an electronic document for communication with suppliers. The first part explains the theoretical background, presents the automotive industry and current market trends. Then follows a brief introduction of TPCA, where the work was created. The theoretical part presents the concept of lean management, its main tools and components, illustrated on concrete examples of TPCA. The theoretical knowledge follows the practical part. The diploma thesis project focuses on the optimization of empty packaging flow and the implementation of a scanning system for loading. Firstly, application part presents the inbound logistics paths and the entire flow of material, after there is deeper analyze and optimization of the empty packaging and loading process itself. The final section compares the baseline and current states.
Usage of drones in the Logistics of the company SKODA AUTO a.s.

This Master´s Thesis Usage of drones in the Logistics of the company SKODA AUTO a.s. reacts to the current trend of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) which are being used in many areas. Aim of this thesis is to analyse laws which regulate the operation of drones in selected countries, to assess suitability of drones for specific process of inventory of empty containers in the company SKODA AUTO a.s. and to suggest an alternative solution for this process. Thesis investigates usage of drones in the Logistics mainly for goods delivery and stock inventory. Mass drone delivery is currently not feasible due to many problems and challenges. Stock inventory has become a reality. Analysis of legislation is focused on EU, Czech Republic, Germany and China. Technology for inventory of empty containers using drones in SKODA AUTO a.s. has a long payback period (21 years) and author does not recommend drones for this process based on this criterion. As an alternative solution, the technology designed at AUDI company is recommended (camera placed on forklift and software for automated container identification).
Cold chain management in humanitarian logistics

The aim of the diploma thesis is to propose assorted variants of the cold chain solution for the humanitarian projects in Iraq. Another target is to carry out a systematic analysis of Iraqi infrastructure. The application part is based on a personal interviews and information provided by the organization Doctors Without Borders. This data were supported by secondary and publicly available data and their subsequent processing and evaluation. Another aim pose the fact that ongoing humanitarian projects in some country do not automatically mean that the country has unusable infrastructure. These conclusions are not based on the outcomes and internal policies of organization Doctors Without Borders. At the end of the thesis, there are also presented proposals for future research in the field of humanitarian logistics and the outlines of the possible constraints related to them.
Automatizace nákupu

The research goal was to find out the current and possible level of procurement automation and its contribution to less routine and more creative jobs. The goal was accomplished by literature review and data collection via survey. The data collected evaluated enterprises in developing and developed countries. The research hypothesis of developing countries automating more than developed ones was not supported by the data tested via Mann-Whithey U test. The data collected was from 146 respondents from all around the world. Therefore, there are limitations of the conclusions. The thesis and its survey contributes to the knowledge about the level of procurement automation.
Czech Electronic Fee Collection System in Terms of European Electronic Toll Service Implementation

The thesis deals with electronic fee collection systems and their interoperability within European Electronic Toll Service. It closely looks on future of Czech EFC system with scope on dealing with obligations of European Electronic Toll Service legislation. In the first part the basic terms of EFC systems are described and basic technologies to be used within EFC systems are explained. The second part then deals with European Electronic Toll Service matters, its legislation and present stage of implementation. In the third part, there are specific technological applications on national EFC systems of chosen European Union countries described. The last part closely describes Czech EFC system, its history, present and its possible future outcomes.
Complaint handling process optimization of the chosen enterprise

This Master's thesis is focused on complaint handling process in the chosen enterprise. The main goal of this thesis is optimization of the chosen customers' complaints using the appropriate Six Sigma methods. In the theoretical part the reverse logistics and its importance are described then Lean enterprise concepts and methods, which are used for the complaint handling process optimization, are explained. The first part of the practical part introduces the enterprise and its logistics and complaint handling process. The rest of the thesis contains the complaint handling process optimization using the DMAIC method.
Optimalization of distribution of a wholesale business company

Revision of pre-optimalization state and proposal of possible changes with a focus on lowering the transportation costs, optimizing the routing and also the service level provided to the customers. Optimalization done on several levels, on strategical and on operative level. All this achieved with combination of outputs from a routing software and using intuitive methods. Outcome to be accounted in costs per annum. Based on conditions and demands stated by the logistics manager in the contrary to customers demands, a strategy of warehouse allocation was created. Based on this information a distribution model regarding also the routing issue was created as well.
