Creation of the thematic map in Microstation

The final bachelor work aims to create a map of a city district Brno-Líšeň in map scale 1:500. Bachelor work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes the characteristic of measured methods that were used. The second chapter is about measurement preparation and work materials. The third chapter describes the processing part of the calculation of measured data in a programming environment Groma v.11. Finally, in the fourth chapter, there is a graphic part which is situated in a programming environment MGEO and Microstation V8i.

Creation of the Thematic Map in Method RTK

The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of the thematic map using the RTK method, finding an appropriate method for measuring inaccessible points. The locality of interest for geodetic surveying is Brno – Vinohrady, nearby Pálavské námestie. The result of this thesis is the thematic map created in scale of map 1 : 500, according to the directions for creating thematic maps.

Technology Creation Cycle Path GIS of Trails

The master thesis deals with the creation of a geographic information system for the needs of cycling. A circular route on Jindřichův Hradec was designed and processed. The whole project was implemented on the ArcGIS platform, especially in ArcMap 10.4.1. Emphasis was placed primarily on showing the route characteristics without having to switch off the layers. Publications were explored and varied outputs were created for the presentation.

The Impact of Human Agency on Creating Development Potential and Transforming Development Trajectories in the Cheb and Sokolov Regions during the Post-Totalitarian Period

This thesis focuses on analysing the concept of human agency in peripheral regions with a discontinuous development and contributes to the current debate in economic evolutionary geography. Specifically, the study targets two districts in the Karlovy Vary region - Cheb and Sokolov - with the region being internally differentiated in terms of development potential. The aim of the thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of how human agency has transformed in the post-totalitarian period concerning development trajectories and how this human agency and its changes contribute to the creation of development potential. To achieve this goal, intensive qualitative research was conducted using semi- structured interviews. The data collection involved a wide range of actors from both regions, including representatives of public administration at the local and regional levels, significant entrepreneurs, non- profit development entities, and others. The data obtained for this study was analysed through coding, which enabled the identification of key themes, patterns, and correlations in human agency and their roles in creating development potential and directing development trajectories. Study of the effect of moisture load on the mechanical properties of mineral wool over time

The work deals with the problem of mineral wool degradation due to thermal and moisture load. Specifically, the effect on mechanical properties is studied. The theoretical part generally explains the theory of heat transfer, discusses different groups of thermal insulation materials. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with mineral wool insulation, describing the production process of this material, the input raw materials and the possibility of recycling of mineral fibres in mineral wool production. In the last chapter, the theoretical part deals with the types of loads on thermal insulation in building construction. The practical part deals with the design of a methodology for the determination of mechanical properties due to thermal and moisture loading. Subsequently, the established methodology was verified.

Survey and preparation of a purpose map of the park Pod Plachtami, Brno Kamenný Vrch, part A

This bachelor’s thesis aims to create a thematic map in the locality of „Park Pod Plachtami” in Brno. The thematic map is produced in a scale of 1:500, in the S-JTSK coordinate system and the Bpv height system, this map also suits the criteria of the 2nd accuracy class according to ČSN 01 3410. This thesis describes the whole process, from terrain reconnaissance, creating a survey net, measurement procedures, and following calculation and graphic processing. Last but not least, the process for testing accuracy and verification with the required accuracy class is described.

Surveying of the Chapel of the Evangelical Brethren Church in Husinec municipality

The thesis deals with the surveying of the Chapel of the Evangelical Brethren Church in the town of Husinec, where the exterior end the main room were surveyed. First, the building is presented. Then, preparation work, surveying methods and their processing are described. Next, the process of producing documentation is introduced. The documentation consists of a floor plan, elevations and a wireframe. The following part compares the surveying and the production of the wireframe with and without topological codes in a point list. The last chapter deals with the visualisation of the surveyed chapel. It describes generation of materials and their application, illumination settings and rendering of images of the visualised chapel.
