The Analysis Photovoltaic Utilization by Means of Tools of GIS in Model Area
Englmaierová, Tereza ; Jaroš, Jakub (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
The Analysis of Photovoltaic Potential by Means of GIS in Model Area Abstract The aim of the thesis is to investigate the issue of the photovoltaic utilization by means of tools of GIS. The teoretical part deals with photovoltaics, the photovoltaic effect, basic conditions and laws that need to be met in order to build a photovoltaic power station and the development and tools of GIS with special intend on Area Solar Radiation. The model is implementated in three test areas in the Czech Republic. The metodology uses tools of GIS in software environment ArcGIS Desktop, an open source application PVGIS and the ČHMÚ database. Keywords: Photovoltaic, Photovoltaic Power Station, GIS, Model, Area Solar Radiation
Sukcese vegetačního krytu na hlušinových odvalech v Ostravě
Jaroš, Jakub
This thesis is focused on the evaluation of succession on spoil heap complex Petr Bezruč and spoil heap of the coking plant Svoboda since the last research carried by Koutecký (2004) and the care proposal of similar devastated sites. A total of 100 phytosociological relevés were made and 100 soil and 204 dendrochronological samples were taken on both sites. The analysis of the obtained data revealed identical changes of EIV on both sites, indicating the canopy increase of the tree species and alteration of the species composition, which was attributed to the ongoing succession. The difference among plots on spoil heaps and the difference among both spoil heaps was also evaluated. Spontaneous and directed succession was determined as the most appropriate means of restoration.
Proposal of methodology for Protected Landscape Area maps production
Pekařová, Kateřina ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
Proposal of methodology for protected landscape area maps production Abstract The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to create a proposal for a methodology for creating maps of protected areas in Czech Republic. The first part of the paper is devoted to acquaintance with the basic knowledge of thematic cartography with emphasis on the basic cartographic rules in the creation of maps. The following is an evaluation of existing maps of protected areas in the Czech Republic and in the world. An overview of data sources is also given. Based on the findings from the first part, the practical part of the thesis then creates the proposal of methodology itself, which is tested on sample maps. Keywords: thematic map, nature conservation, spatial data, cartographic generalization, methodology

Web site of building design using GIS and JavaScript libraries
Starosta, Tomáš ; Čábelka, Miroslav (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a methodical process of creating a web interactive building plan using open-source technologies. In the introductory technical section covers some of the projects that have been used for a similar purpose. This work is also a closer focus on the software that you can use. The guidance section is to set out a general procedure, aimed at General web mapping applications creation. In the practical part is based on lessons learned about open-source technologies, determined and handled the process of creating a web interactive plan of the building Faculty, Charles University in Prague, Albertov 6. The output is available online at the web address map www.albertov.g6.cz, on which you can view the individual floors of the building. Sukcese vegetačního krytu na odvalu Koksovny Svoboda v Ostravě
Jaroš, Jakub
This bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of succession on muck stack coking plant Svoboda in Ostrava since the last research carried by Koutecký (2004) and the proposal of framework of care for similar locations. For this purpose has been made 39 phytocenological relevés where were found 177 species of vascular plants. The loss of available light and heat and increase of humidity, accesible nutrients in soil, and pH, which was attributed primarily to ongoing succession, has been detected through analysis of data files. For the purposes of recovery of similar sites have been proposed the maximum possible usage of spontaneous succession.
Analysis of the accessibility of health care in Czechia
Vaněk, David ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with spatial accessibility of outpatient health care in Czechia using network analysis in GIS. Two health insurance companies are involved in the analysis: Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna and Revírní bratrská pokladna. As examples, four different health services were chosen (urology, hemodialysis, nephrology and cardiac surgery). Then, time accessibility was calculated and service areas for health care facilities were generated in ArcGIS. Traveling by car was used as a traffic mode. Time accessibility was compared with the limits established by law. For resultant underserved areas, their shares of total area and population of Czechia were computed. The results are presented by tables and maps, which are in the appendix of this work. The substantial differences among accessibility of health care providers and between both health insurance companies were found out.
