Andrštová, Martina ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
3D reconstruction of abandoned settlements of the central Povltaví ABSTRACT This work deals with the use of Geoinformatic systems to create the three-dimensional model of an extinct landscape. The main subject of this bachelor work is the three-dimensional reconstruction of extinct municipalities in the central area of the Vltava River. The main task was to create digital terrain model of the original Vltava valley. The passage from Zvírotice to Svatojánské proudy has been chosen as the model territory. Two selected municipalities Zvírotice and Živohošť were thoroughly worked up. Many data sources were used in this work, such as historical photographs, historical aerial photographs or current orthophoto maps. Digital terrain models were created with the help of these datas and then the models were overlain with the orthophotos. 3D models of buildings and vegetation were put in the terrain models. Two periods were compared, 50th of the 20th century and present. Results of this work are fly-by animations and perspective scenes. The results will be used in newly built museum in Chotilsko town. Keywords: 3D reconstruction, DTM, land cover changes, orthophoto

Havelka, Ondřej ; Žáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
Ways of cartographic visualization of artic glaciation changes by using methods of thematic cartography Abstract The aim of this thesis is to make a research of available geographic data relates to the development of glaciation of the Artic and also to assess the suitability of selected methods of thematic cartography to represent geographical phenomenon: change of glaciation in time. The first part is devoted to detailed research of the available databases produced by foreign research organizations. This part is followed by research of Czech and foreign literature which is focused on cartographic visualization and methods of thematic cartography suitable for expression of dynamics phenomenon. In the conclusion are shown the ways of proper choice of data with relevant cartographic method, illustrated on the attached maps. Keyword: geographic data, thematic cartography methods, glaciation changes

Atlas of canoeing marathon Budweis - Prague Abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create an atlas of canoeing marathon Budweis - Prague. The text of thesis then provides a description of making process, including a literature review. The partial goal of this work is to create cartographic point features of boating and nautical themes. The work also includes a description of the Vltava River, history of its navigability and the history of the race Budweis - Prague. The result is completely processed atlas, which introduces users to the course of the track and its surroundings. The atlas is an external attachment to this thesis. Cycling map of Croatian Island Rab
Vodňanská, Klára ; Jaroš, Jakub (advisor) ; Hettler, Jakub (referee)
Biking and hiking map of Croatian island Rab Abstract The objective of this work is to create biking and hiking map of Croatian island Rab in a scale 1 : 50 000. The primary requirement is, that map should be created from a geodatabase in a reference scale 1 : 10 000. In the theoretical part there are evaluated existing biking and hiking map in a scale 1 : 50 000 and then cartographic products which include area of island Rab. This evaluation has analysed lacks, which should be eliminated during the creation of new map. Then, in a work there is a description of chosen area, the selection of a software and based data. The practical part is focused on a procedure of creating map, from the choice of a map projection and content, through the preparation of data, creating of map key and legend, to the preparation a map for a print. The attachment of this work is new map of island Rab with a legend in three language. Keywords: biking and hiking map, map creation, map evaluation, map key, legend, cartographical representations, biking track, hiking trail
Proposal for a cartographic visualization of data in the planning analytical documents
Prokopec, Karel ; Žáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to propose a correct cartographic visualization of data contained in the planning analytical documents and to implement of the proposed solution to sample of municipalities with extended competence. First part of this thesis includes significance, purpose and structure of planning analytical documents and data which are presented in the form of cartographic outputs. This part is followed by interpretation of recommended methods and the concept of Thematic Cartography. The last part of the thesis includes proposal of exemplary cartographic outputs that should be part of the planning analytical documents, including design map key and map layout.
ACCURACY ASSESSMENT OF THE FOREST ROAD NETWORK CONTAINED IN THE GEOGRAPHICAL DATABASES OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Zub, Daniel ; Jaroš, Jakub (advisor) ; Šára, Pavel (referee)
Accuracy assessment of the forest road network contained in the geographical databases of the Czech republic Abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate forest road network spatial data resources in the Czech Republic. The main resources are ZABAGED, DMU 25, UHUL, SHOCart and maps for orienteering sports. The theoretical section of the thesis describes the definition and importance of forest road network, the classification of roads and paths of individual databases, methods which can be measured in wooded areas and their principles. The most described is the method of GPS measurements which contains errors that can occur when measured in forested areas. The practical part of the thesis contains an analysis of tracks and paths databases that was done on the basis of their classification, existence, similarities with the initial dataset (ZABAGED), a comparison of databases with field research. First, a method of analysis is described. Measurements were performed with geodetic GPS device and it also includes the determination of its accuracy in areas with unfavorable conditions. At the end, the results of analyzes are mentioned. The work contains a topographic map of the defined forest area in scale 1: 10 000. Keywords: forest road, footpath, geographic database of the Czech Republic, the...
The Analysis Photovoltaic Utilization by Means of Tools of GIS in Model Area
Englmaierová, Tereza ; Jaroš, Jakub (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
The Analysis of Photovoltaic Potential by Means of GIS in Model Area Abstract The aim of the thesis is to investigate the issue of the photovoltaic utilization by means of tools of GIS. The teoretical part deals with photovoltaics, the photovoltaic effect, basic conditions and laws that need to be met in order to build a photovoltaic power station and the development and tools of GIS with special intend on Area Solar Radiation. The model is implementated in three test areas in the Czech Republic. The metodology uses tools of GIS in software environment ArcGIS Desktop, an open source application PVGIS and the ČHMÚ database. Sukcese vegetačního krytu na hlušinových odvalech v Ostravě
Jaroš, Jakub
This thesis is focused on the evaluation of succession on spoil heap complex Petr Bezruč and spoil heap of the coking plant Svoboda since the last research carried by Koutecký (2004) and the care proposal of similar devastated sites. A total of 100 phytosociological relevés were made and 100 soil and 204 dendrochronological samples were taken on both sites. The analysis of the obtained data revealed identical changes of EIV on both sites, indicating the canopy increase of the tree species and alteration of the species composition, which was attributed to the ongoing succession. The difference among plots on spoil heaps and the difference among both spoil heaps was also evaluated. Spontaneous and directed succession was determined as the most appropriate means of restoration.
