The Coma Corrector of D.M.Maksutov
Rail, Zdeněk ; Jareš, Daniel ; Vápenka, David
The simpliest coma corrector of the paraboloidal mirror is a singlet-meniscus of Maksutov. This corrector placed into converging beam of a paraboloidal mirror corrects coma and saves stigmatic image of the system on its optical axis. The corrector can be easily to built and enlarges the field of view about three times.

Photonometers for coating and sputtering machines
Oupický, Pavel ; Jareš, Daniel ; Václavík, Jan ; Vápenka, David
The concept of photonometers (alternative name of optical monitor of a vacuum deposition process)for coating and sputtering machines is based on photonometers produced by companies like SATIS or HV Dresden. Photometers were developed in the TOPTEC centre and its predecessor VOD (Optical Development Workshop of Institut of Plasma Physics AS CR) for more than 10 years. The article describes current status of the technology and ideas which will be incorporated in next development steps. Hardware and software used on coating machines B63D, VNA600 and sputtering machine UPM810 is presented.

Chromatic Aberration of Several Important Refractors of the 19th and 20th Century
Rail, Zdeněk ; Jareš, Daniel ; Tomka, David ; Doleček, Roman
In 19th century refractors dominated in astronomical research. Lenses of these devices were made of the classical glasses. Main optical aberration of these telescopes was residual chromatism. In this paper residual chromatism of several important refractors is shown. We managed to get optical parameters of 40, 36, 25 inch refractors of Alvan Clark, 12 inch telescope of Greenwiche observatory and 6 inch heliometer of Joseph Fraunhofer with which paralax of star was measured for the first time. The paper contains parameters of the dublet of König telescope of Prague‘s observatory
