Vyskočilová, Alena ; Janečková, Hana (advisor) ; Baštecká, Bohumila (referee)
The thesis deals with the influence of local museum workers on the civic community of Polná during the more than 120 years of the museum's existence. The starting point for the reflection is the perspective of collective memory of Maurice Halbwachs. The theoretical part presents different perspectives on individual and collective memory and the connection of memory with the construction of individual and community identity. It takes into account the importance of place as a factor of stability and its changes over time as a result of human action. The text examines the phenomenon of collecting from a historical perspective, summarizing the basic moments of development from collecting to museology and the emergence of museum institutions. Document analysis charts the time course of museum development in changing social and legal conditions. In particular, it focuses on the museum's management and their interactions with the local community. It traces this process across several generations. The analysis of the documents is illustrated with excerpts from interviews with museum actors in Polná since the 1960s. The aim of the work is to reflect on the museum in Polná as a place of memory and its contribution to the local community.

Sexual activity in older age has been associated with positive impacts on physical and mental health. However, the topic of sex life is still very taboo in older age, and there are very few studies and research devoted to it. The relationship between sexual activity and selected characteristics was analysed using binary logistical regression. The main objectives of this thesis were to compile an overview of the prevalence of sexual activity of different groups of older people in the Czech Republic and to find factors that influence sexual activity of older adults. Information about their sexual activity was provided by 2107 respondents. A low prevalence of sexual activity was found (21,8 %). Sexual activity differed between the sexes, and conversely the presence of a partner in the home did not play a role in prevalence. In the analysed sample of respondents, it was confirmed that attitudes about sexual desire and sexual importance had the greatest influence on sexual activity than, for example, biomedical factors such as health or psychological status....
