The structure of dispersed vegetation around Lovos near Litomerice
Kuperová, Zuzana ; Janeček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Vítámvás, Jan (referee)
This thesis mapped and analysed scattered vegetation in farmer landscape. The selected location was Litomerice area, especially the hill Lovos, what is an interesting place of its dendrology evolution in historical aspect. The goal of the thesis was to describe and analyse a vegetation diversity and dependency of it on the locations conditions. Also to map a trend in vegetation composition and structure. The composition of vegetation was strongly affected by post WWII era and a collectivization period. There was not described only the composition and structure of vegetation, but also a volume of the dead wood, visible stones above the land, connectivity, levels and water influence, means persistent water. It was found majority of fruit trees and isolated trees. The most successful vegetation was dog-rose (Rosa canina) and elderberry (Sambucus nigra). The mentioned vegetations are bushes and the big influence on the succession have the bird spreading and the seed resistance. The most successful trees were old world walnut (Juglans regia) and europian pear (Pyrus communis). The observation was compared with aerial photos in Marushka and aerial photos from 1953, which made sense of majority of fruit trees.
The structure of dispersed vegetation around the village Ostretin
Hloušková, Jana ; Janeček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Vítámvás, Jan (referee)
Scaterred vegetation is a significant element in a landscape which has many functions. The main functions are ecological, soil-protective, microclimatic, productive, medical, and hygienic. This thesis is focused on species composition in scaterred vegetation. The aims of this thesis were to find out the species composition and also the habitat characteristics during the past dendrologic research. Also, it was important to determine which factors affect the species composition. A study was held in September and October 2015 around a village Ostřetín in region of Pardubice. 19 tree species and 9 bush species altogether were found in 70 locations. To the largest group of bush species belong Sambucus nigra, Rosa sp., Crateagus sp. and Prunus spinosa. As for the trees species, the most numerous groups were Alnus glutinosa, Prunus domestica, Pinus sylvestris and Picea abies. All the collected data were statistically evaluated using generalized linear model. Neither water nor altitude influence were conclusive. On the other hand, factors as area, canopy, vertical stratification and presence of dead wood were significant meaning they affected the species composition. Comparison of similar studies shown that the species as Rosa sp. and Sambucus nigra are significantly dominant bush species in scaterred vegetation. On the contrary, frequency of tree species is different in many cases.
Environmental factors effect to the Scotch pine seedlings survival
Pourová, Marie ; Ulbrichová, Iva (advisor) ; Janeček, Vladimír (referee)
The survival and mortality of the Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) seedlings during the vegetation season of 2015 are evaluated in the thesis. The seedlings in greenhouse conditions in Truby were exposed to water deficiency, three variants of shading and simultaneously to environmental temperature, which, due to weather, was extraordinary high at the time of the experiment. The highest number of grown seedlings from the seed material from Plasy was 89 % from the total of 224 outplanted ones, namely in conditions of mean shading and slightly reduced watering. The highest mortality of the seedlings was found in unshaded environment with slightly reduced watering, in mean shading with the second lowest watering and in the highest shading with the second lowest watering, the mortality was 100 % there. The seedlings from the seed material from Doksy were much more hard put to it. The seedlings grew only in four cases in unshaded environment with the highest watering (4 % from 224 outplanted ones), in mean shading with the highest watering (38 %) and in the environment with the highest shading together with the highest watering (68 %) and slightly lowered watering (1,3 %). In all cases the seedlings mortality was higher than 70 %. The lowest number of grown seedlings occurred in unshaded environment and between the variants with mean and high shading, there was only a small difference. The results were strongly affected by extraordinary warm vegetation season.

Dendrological survey of selected vegetation in the property of Blatná city
Červená, Tereza ; Janeček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Bažant, Václav (referee)
Trees and green areas have always had in general a positive effect to human beeings. Our ancestors were very well aware of this fact during building and widening cities and therefore they created various forms of parks, gardens or alleys. Although these did not correspond to a form as we know it nowadays they still fulfilled the various social or environmental functions. It was important to take care about this greenery and always keep an overview. This aspect became more important as time goes by. This diploma thesis aims to evaluate the status of selected assets of the greenery in the town of Blatna. The status is based on the dendrology revision. During the revision the basic dendrology and qualitative values were identified. Within this work I would like to propose some measures and other following steps and modifications which should help to increase the attractiveness of some less used areas and improved the related green functions. The valuation of the five the most valuable specimens was conducted according to the methodology AOPK ČR. The project created in AutoCAD software which should serve and help to visualize the monitored areas is the last outcome of this paper.
