Considering about Abortion in the Area of Pastoral Work
Samiec, Jakub ; Jandejsek, Petr (advisor) ; Sivek, Vojtěch (referee)
The topic of abortion I chose because this can correspond with other problems, which can cause, that the client find out the pastoral worker. I think, that except the graduated specialist, among the pastoral worker, there is not so high level of awareness how to proceed the meeting with the client, who actually solve the problem of abortion. As the target of my work I marked out to write the well-arranged tool, which can succesfuly use not only the pastoral workers. By examining this topic I tried to anylyse available sources and from them set the simple and clear abstract, what, because of the wide of this topic, was not simple job. I also communicated with the specialits, that regulary work with the client, which are solving the problem of abortion. Because of that for lot of them is going about very private topic and information about client can't be passed in full width, the acquirement of many outputs of our communication was often difficult. But I mind that this compilation can be helpful for many pastoral workers, gives the elementary self-contained information about topic of abortion and as contains actual contacts, they can simplier find the help of specialist for clients in need. Social Aspects of the Mountain Teaching
Samiec, Tomáš ; Jandejsek, Petr (advisor) ; Milfait, René (referee)
The topic of this work is the Mountain teaching and its effects to contemporary social work. I analyze its particular thesis and their practical use. First chapter is about Blessings. I interpret their seemingly ambiguous meaning and I try to find, what they are about to say to us today. Next chapter is about some of following statements joined to interpersonal relationships. These thesis concure to previous blessings and execute previous chapter's thoughts. There is an evident theoretically-practical relationship between two of these chapters. The last chapter is about possibilities to execute these thoughts within contemporary conditions. But also I consider with question of church's place in the social area, because this question is interesting and not unique. But there is no doubt that church stanceis important due to helping others is an implementation of Mountain teaching's social aspects. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Ilyková, Gabriela ; Jandejsek, Petr (advisor) ; Klimešová, Anna (referee)
This thesis is focused on family, specifically on the way it is viewed by gender studies and family studies. It is also focused on the question what are gender studies and family studies, what is their meaning and purpose, and what is the main focus of their work. Because the topic of this thesis was inspired by an accusation of gender studies from disturbing morality by spreading feminist and similar ideals, and since the allegations were raised by representatives of one of the Christian churches, the thesis will address the issue of linkages between gender studies and feminism, as well as the way how families are viewed by feminism and Christianity, in order to determine whether gender studies can truly be described as a threat to Christian morality. The Notion of Social Sin in the Texts of Liberation Theology and the Documents of the Magisterium
Gabrielová, Anna ; Jandejsek, Petr (advisor) ; Noble, Timothy (referee)
In the second half of the 20th century, Latin American liberation theology has enriched the theological debate with the notion of social (alternatively structural) sin, which means a non-individual form of evil, often connected with institutions or social structures. The aim of this bachelor thesis The notion of social sin in the texts of liberation theology and the documents of the magisterium is to describe and elucidate the concept of social sin and to compare it with the similar thoughts developed in the documents of the magisterium. However, the thesis also points to the more general considerations about the nature of sin and evil, seeks the relation between the images of social and original sin and sketches the consequence of the concept of structural sin for social work. The Last Judgment in the Language of Art
Fojtů, Daniela ; Jandejsek, Petr (advisor) ; Heryán, Ladislav (referee)
This thesis called The Last Judgement in the Language of Art focuses on the topic of the Last Judgment in art. Jesus` apocalyptic speech, which can be found in the Gospel According to Matthew (Matthew 25:31-46), is the basis for this theme. The thesis tries to approach one of the eschatological topics from the point of view of The Bible, the church doctrine and fine arts while examining their interrelationship and interconnectedness in the quest for the truths of faith. The thesis aims to juxtapose the conceptions of the topic of the Last Judgement according to the Gospels, church theology and three concrete artistic interpretations, and to describe their mutual influence. The text is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter refers to the biblical sources of the topic and deals with it in the context of church dogma. The second chapter focuses on the area of fine arts and explores its forms in the context of Christianity. The final chapter includes an analysis of three artistic interpretations of the Last Judgement as rendered by Giotto di Bondone, Hieronymus Bosch and Michelangelo Buonarroti. All interpretations of the artworks are included as attachments and can be found at the conclusion of the thesis.

Christology from below? A dispute over Jacques Dupuis, Roger Haight and Jon Sobrino
Jandejsek, Petr ; Noble, Ivana (advisor) ; Noble, Timothy (referee) ; Červenková, Denisa (referee)
The dissertation of Petr Jandejsek analyzes Christologies of the three contemporary Jesuit theologians: Jacques Dupuis, Roger Haight and Jon Sobrino. In terms of method it calls their approaches "from below". Epistemology used by their Christologies proceeds from human, particular, historically- grounded experience toward its revealing source. Given that the three Christologies were subjected to a critique from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the dissertation raises questions regarding the innovative features of their Christologies as well as their limits. It is argued that they can complement the so-called "Christologies from above", which proceed "from God", from the divine revelation that has been given to the human beings and requires obedience. In this dissertation "theology from above" is exemplified by the work of Joseph Ratzinger. The dissertation identifies common sources of the Christologies in question. They are found in the Ignatian spirituality, the theology of Karl Rahner and the experiences gained in the missionary work. In conclusion, it is suggested that the three Christologies are legitimate interpretations, however limited, of the pastoral theology of the Second Vatican Council. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
