The aim of this thesis is to present content of one lesson of history or civics at the second grade of primary schools and at high schools. The students using drama education and project teaching will learn about modern Czechoslovakia history through the life story of Vladimír Lutovský. Apart from educational content the author deals with historical aspects of this topic and how it is covered in nowadays Czech schooling. Ethical and value questions connected to teaching this topic are dealt with alongside this. Next part is dedicated to appropriate didactic processing of this topic and related questions (age of students, etc.). Author processes the topic into a plan for the lesson to be used in the mentioned subject.

Proměna života v obci Libějice po nástupu komunismu - Akce Lutovský a spol.

The aim of this thesis is to show the transformation of life in the Czech countryside from the historical perspective. In introduction, there is outlined historical and social context of the onset of communism in Czechoslovakia, the change of proprietary rights, political, security and social circumstances, etc. After this brief introduction, the village Libějice is being characterized with its specifics in the gravity of the impact of the changes in the political system. Furthermore, the case of Lutovský and col. is described. The main sources of information for this thesis are The Archive of Security Services and The Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes regarding the transformation of the situation in the Czech countryside and social situation as such. Both primary and secondary sources are being used. Interviews are conducted with both the living contemporary witnesses and with those who have some indirect knowledge of the events from the village Libějice. The most substantial part of the thesis is based on the analysis of the perception of the Lutovský and col. case by the nowadays citizens of Libějice. Of particular interest is their interpretation of this case in the broader context of the events of the fifties, as multiple questions are raised at present by the way how it is perceived what happened in the end of the forties and during the fifties
