Electrical properties of ferroelectric materials
Hudeček, Ondřej ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
This presented work deals with properties and application of ferroelectric materials in electrical engineering. Experiment was pointed on measuring and evaluation temperature and frequency dependence complex permittivity for various ferroelectric ceramic materials.
The lamination of Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic
Hudeček, Ondřej ; Klíma, Martin (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with the optimalization of low-temperature cofired ceramic lamination process that affects the final quality of 3D structures (eg., channels, cavities, membranes, etc.). The paper evaluates the influence of lamination parameters (pressure, temperature, time) on the formation of defects in the structure, which were detected by appropriate methods. The last parts describes designed and simulation cooling water system using LTCC technology.
Prevent the big water. Flood control measures issued by public administrative bodies in the late 18th century Bohemia.
Hudeček, Ondřej ; Himl, Pavel (advisor) ; Tinková, Daniela (referee) ; Maur, Eduard (referee)
During the winter of 1783-1784, practically all European states were struck by severe floods. These natural disasters challenged the state bodies and their ability to cope with exceptional situations. At the time, administrative bodies in the Czech lands were undergoing numerous and substantial reforms designed in the spirit of enlightened absolutism to improve efficiency and thus contribute to the "greater good". The aim of all these reforms was to bring security to the lives of people and promote its quality, because this brought advantages for the whole state. Based on an analysis of the preserved archive sources and newspapers examines present dissertation the formation of the state flood prevention in Bohemia in the late eighteen century. From general point of view the aim of my dissertation is to help to better understand the modernisation process in the era of Enlightenment. It departs, i.a. from the findings of French philosopher Michel Foucault and his concept of biopolitics. The dissertation analyses some concrete examples of this biopolitics, such as the struggle of state bodies against every possible irregularity, contingency and risk, that could endangered the wealth of state and its inhabitants, health of people and the social order, promotion of "love for human beings"...

Waste in 19th century in Prague as example of city-hinterland interactions
Stružková, Radka ; Matoušek, Václav (advisor) ; Hudeček, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis deals with waste and waste management in 19th century in Prague. The theoretical basis is the concept of "urban metabolism", which part is waste, as the metabolic output. Waste is also seen as an example of interactions between city and its hinterland. The intention of this thesis is to prove the proposition on the case of Prague, that the 19th century wasn't the century of waste. At the time of progressing industrialization and demand of raw materials there was the tendency to reuse every potentially usable material. This thesis describes based on literature and especially on analysis of archival documents the particular steps of waste management in 19th century in Prague (city cleaning, collection, transport and disposal of waste), whereas the main concern lays in interaction of city and its hinterland in context of waste disposal. The results of the analysis are widely interpreted in conclusions. key words: waste, waste management, Prague, "the long" 19th century, process of industrialization, interactions of city and its hinterland, social and urban metabolism, environmental history
The Soběslav floods between 1729 and 1740
Hudeček, Ondřej ; Himl, Pavel (advisor) ; Koldinská, Marie (referee)
My thesis presents a study of floods which repeatedly hit the town of Soběslav and it's close surroundings between 1729 and 1740. The text is divided in a theoretical (metodological) and an empirical part. In the theoretical part I will briefly summarize methodological trends in the modern historiography, which were most relevant for the thesis - environmental history, historical anthropology and microhistory. The second part will be dedicated to the floods of Soběslav; it derives primarily from research of previously unpublished resources from the archive and focuses also on short history of the town and description of it's natural surroundings. The main part is devoted to the Soběslav millers, but there will be reflected also the documented disputes over water-washed material, the response of the town offices to natural disaster and other consequences of the flood. The broad objective of this study is to examine other directions of research on early modern floods and the related problems. The thesis is an attempt to more general application of findings which emerged from the analysis of archival sources, and consideration of the possibilities and limits of comparison of historical and modern floods.

Transformation of the means of expression in the films of Steven Soderbergh during the transition from anolog to digital technology
Hudeček, Ondřej ; SMUTNÝ, Vladimír (advisor) ; MAREK, Diviš (referee)
Bachelor thesis "Transformation of the means of expression in the films of Steven Soderbergh during the transition from analog to digital technology" deals with the transformation of the creative approach in the works of Steven Soderbergh with the focus on the changes that the digital technology have brought. The birth of the digital technology from various authors' point of view is introduced for a complex understanding of the topic. The thesis doesn't deal with the technical comparison of the two technologies. Furthermore, the transformation of means of expression of Steven Soderbergh as the director, cinematographer and editor is described separately, as well as the overall transformation of his creative approach divided into three periods, and the anticipation of his future career. The operating methods are study of foreign and Czech literature, comparison of the aesthetic attributes and technical possibilities of the analog and digital technology, analysis of the films of Steven Soderbergh, content analysis and participant observation.
