Horizontal and vertical positioning of survey net in laboratory B150

This bachelor thesis deals with the determination of the horizontal coordinates and heights of the survey control points in the B150 and B151 laboratories at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. Position coordinates are determined in the local coordinate system. The heights are connected to the Czech State Leveling Network and will be reported in the Baltic Vertical Datum - After Adjustment. The thesis is divided into chapters according to the individual stages of processing. The output of this bachelor thesis are a list of calculated coordinates and heights of the determined points and their overview.

PDF security

Final thesis deals with the PDF file security. The aim of this paper is to map the security options available for this file format, deeper analyze their technical implementation, provide guidance on their usage and then test their reliability. The work is dedicated to security from the perspective of the publication of documents, i.e. the content of PDF files. It does not deal with application security, i.e. a possible attack on PDF files by malicious software. This text educates readers in the topic and its conclusion is an evaluation of security types, along with a practical set of recommendations for publishing secure PDF documents.

Usability principles of web applications with focus on VŠE

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current version of the Integrated Study Information System at the University of Economics with focus on usability. An improved solution is suggested based on latest development in the field. The theoretical part contains selected approaches to redesign of web application. The resulting solution is in a form of redesigned key parts of the information system common to most functions in the student related section. Wireframes and static website mockups are used in order to illustrate the suggested solutions.

Social networks and their use in commercial sector

This bachelor's thesis is focused on using social networks in commercial sector. Is divided in two main parts, in first part are defined social networks, given examples and described history. Thesis specially deals with selected networks and describes them in detail. Furthermore presents a possible use of social networks in corporate practice and provides concrete examples of offered functionalities. The second part focuses on a selected sample of companies in which identifies companies that use social networks (Facebook and Twitter) and studies them more. Studies real communication of these companies and analyze it further. At the end gives examples of good and bad communication and recommendations for using social networks in commercial sector.

New media in the art world

This work creates a unique view into the world of new media. It focuses primarily on artists of their sphere of production and usage of new media. At first, there is specification of a connections between technology and arts from a historical periods. Then the work focuses on the newly created artistic movements, which are closely related to new media. Due to the consistency of new media and Web 2.0 is here and list of the specific media used by artistic community. It describes in detail the problem of distribution of works on the Web under copyright law. There is an empirical research that find literacy work with audiovisual equipment and use of digital illegal way to get an art.

This master thesis focuses on e-commerce, online marketing and Social Media marketing potential from theoretical factual and practical perspective. On the example of real start-up e-shop Didogo Group Ltd. it aims to show various possibilities how to enhance the company's and brands' recognition while implementing various online marketing and advertising tools. Particular focus is put on Social Media as up to date platforms suitable for marketing and advertising usage. After providing general theoretical and factual overview of e-commerce in the world as well as in Czech Republic, detailed description of various internet marketing tools and Social Media, it analysis Didogo's current state and marketing tools used up to date, and further provides list of recommendations for future marketing communication strategy of this company. Master thesis contains 79 pages, 10 figures, and 7 Appendixes.

The main goal of this master thesis is to prove by historical analysis the importance of implementation of information systems and information and communication technologies to companies and to show positives and negatives of these changes in an organization. Every single change in a company has its impact on company`s processes which is reflected by changes in organization`s structure and operation. The basic hypothesis of this work is to confirm that information systems and information and communication technologies significantly affect organizational structure and operation, change it and have a positive impact on it.

Organization of IT Departement - Analysis and Proposal of the New Solution (in a specific company)

Cílem této práce je teoretický rozbor organizace struktury útvaru IT a jeho organizačního zařazení a fungování s následným ověřením teoretických rámců v praxi na konkrétní firmě. První část práce se zabývá teoretickou tematikou zařazení útvaru IT ve firmě, návaznostmi na další oddělení a způsobem jeho fungování (organizace, komunikace apod.). Druhá část práce je věnována seznámení s konkrétní firmou a praktickému ověření vytvořeného teoretického rámce na reálně existující firmě. Dílčími cíli práce je: kritické zhodnocení analýzy útvaru IT s návrhem nového řešení (zlepšení); analýza komunikace v útvaru IT a komunikace útvaru IT s ostatními útvary ve firmě, resp. s firemním okolím; a pracovní náplň útvaru IT - její organizace, plánování a flexibilita, apod. Přínos práce spočívá: v praktickém zjištění fungování IT útvaru v reálné firmě a ověření využití teoretických koncepčních rámců v praxi; v rozšíření teoretického rámce o nově vznikající a zaváděné role v oblasti organizování útvaru IT. Jedná se o ?aktualizaci? původních zavedených rámců o nové údaje; a v návrhu (doporučení) problémů zjištěných v praktické analýze.
