Comparison of flow conditions in the gas detector used in the aperture and screen
Hubáček, Jiří ; Špinka, Jiří (referee) ; Maxa, Jiří (advisor)
The first part of the thesis deals with electron microscopy and physical model fluid flow. In the next part, a three-dimensional model is created in programme SolidWorks. It is the model of scintilating detector with aperture or screen with three hundred little apertures. These models are submitted to analysis focusing on investigation of the gas flow at different pressure in chamber of specimen ESEM using Cosmos FloWorks system. The results of the analysis of both apertures variants are compared with the request to minimize the pressure in the trajectory of the secondary electrons as well as in the chamber of specimen.
Memories of Bedřich Frída
Hubáček, Jiří ; Vaněk, Václav (advisor) ; Topor, Michal (referee)
The core of the work lies in an edition of less known or never published memorial texts related to Jaroslav Vrchlický. The work introduces memoirs of the Poet's brother, Bedřich Frída, written shortly after Vrchlický's death and never edited before. This edition also focuses on texts of Jaroslav Vrchlický himself published so far only in periodicals, which reflect mainly the Poet's youth. The edited texts also contain expert medical report of Vrchlický written by Josef Pelnář. Comprehensive commentary serves as an aid for understanding the facts present in the edited texts as well as provides period reflexions of some of the moments of Vrchlický's life known from other literature. The opening study firstly maps memorial literature related to Jaroslav Vrchlický, and provides its self-contained overview. Second part focuses on Bedřich Frída, the author of the most extensive parts of the edited texts, and tries to provide complex picture of the life of less known Czech translator, pedagogue, and dramatic adviser of the National Theatre. Most importantly the study follows period materials trying to map complicated and dynamically changing relation between the two brothers and so provides comparison between the period materials and the text of Frída's memoirs depicting his version of coexistence with...
Short Prose of Jaroslav Vrchlický
Hubáček, Jiří ; Vaněk, Václav (advisor) ; Topor, Michal (referee)
This bachelor thesis aims to offer a complex approach to the short prose of Jaroslav Vrchlický. It proceeds chronologically and pays attention to the particular collections of stories as well as to the items of prose printet individually or ones in manuscript form; as an appendix to the stories, the thesis analyses feuilletons and memories. Yet it is focused primarily on the history of literature, it deals mainly with the genesis of the texts, their editions and critical reception and it examines their intertextual relations to the classical works of the world literature. On the basis of my analysis of individual stories, it strives to grasp the basic enveloping of Vrchlický as a novelist in separate periods of his creative course and hereby, to present the whole of his prosaic works as a dynamically changing and developing part of his entire writing.
