Prof. Lenka Krámská, Ph.D. Abstract: The term psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) refers to a conversion disorder (300.11) imitating epileptic seizures that are psychological etiology (DSM-5). Neuropsychological assessment including personality profile and mood status is an integral part of the diagnosis and treatment of PNES. The main treatment is psychotherapy. In the theoretical part of this research project, we have processed psychoeducation guide for clinical psychologists and psychotherapists working with patients diagnosed with PNES, based on recommended standards (Myers, 2014; LaFrance & Wincze, 2015; Reiter et al., 2015) and long-term clinical experiences with these patients (in particular Assoc. Prof. Lenka Kramska, Ph.D.). The purpose of our research project was to assess the presence of maladaptive emotional regulation in the profile of patients diagnosed with PNES (N = 51) compared to healthy populations (N = 51), through self-report questionnaires Affective Style Questionnaire (ASQ) and Difficulty in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS). Activation programs focusing on cognitive functions for seniors

This bachelor thesis deals with the activation programs for seniors. The theoretical section is divided into two chapters. In the first chapter, the thesis deals with activation and activation programs in general, after that it presents the types of activation programs and presents specific information about individual types of activities. The second chapter deals with cognitive function training, its specifics in seniors with cognitive disorder, the CSPTMJ is presented here, and then it analyzes the research examining the effectiveness of cognitive function training. In the design section of the research, a quantitative study is being done to examine the effectiveness of two forms of cognitive training, administrated in writing or on a computer. Methods to help verify hypotheses are MMSE and CPQ.

Psychosocial risk factors for the development of obsessive-compulsive disorder

The Bachelor thesis deals with psychosocial risk factors for the occurrence and development of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The introductory part of the thesis is dedicated to the clinical characteristics of the disorder. Further, current knowledge on the etiopathogenesis of OCD and psychological theories of the disorder are presented. The main part of the thesis provides an overview and critical evaluation of modern studies' results that are focused on the role of psychosocial factors in the development of OCD. Main attention is paid to influences of family environment as well as stressful and traumatic life events. The last part of the thesis presents a proposal of a research project which aims to gain more evidence that parenting styles and stressful life events are related to the development of OCD.
