Compressibility of the powder mixture with microcrystalline cellulose.
Hrdinová, Petra ; Řehula, Milan (advisor) ; Ďoubal, Stanislav (referee)
Compressing process can be evaluated by the parameters that are acquired from the record of force-run, stress relaxation or compaction equation. Compac- tion equation expresses the dependency on height, volume or density compression moulded material by pressure. In these thesis is pressing process characterized by parameters of compaction equation. Original Heckel equation declared range of pressing pressures, which caused plastic deformation of materials. Simultaneously pressed material is characterized by rate constant, expressing the rate of reduction of material in the plastic deformation. In these thesis is used triple - exponential equation, which was created at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and which is based on Cooper-Eaton equation. In a comparison between the Cooper- Eaton equation, the triple-exponential equation is not based on genuine values of density and detailed interpretation of the meaning of individual parameters. These thesis evaluates the granulate produced from a mixture of lactose monohydrate and microcrystalline cellulose and starch in mixtures where the microcrystalline cellulose is added at the concentration of 10, 20, 30, 40 %. The work results showed that with increasing reduction of volume, at the same time increases the volume of energy consumption and...
HPLC determination of lutein, vitamin E, vitamin E acetate, beta-carotene in food supplements
Hrdinová, Petra ; Šatínský, Dalibor (advisor) ; Chocholouš, Petr (referee)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Analytical Chemistry Candidate: Mgr. Petra Hrdinová Consultant. Doc. RNDr. Dalibor Šatínský, Ph.D. Rigorous thesis title: HPLC determination of lutein, vitamin E, vitamin E acetate, beta-carotene in food supplements The rigorous thesis deals with optimization of conditions for determination of lutein, beta-carotene and vitamin E , and vitamin E acetate in food supplements Ostrovidky, Ocutein forte, Walmark Lutein forte, Ocumax, Avilut, Ocuvite lutein forte, Lutein for eyes, Walmark betacarotene and Revital Super Betacarotene. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used for determination. Three chromatographic columns were tested, the best results were obtained using an Ascentis Express C-18 column 100 x 4.6 mm with a particle size 5 microns. Detection was performed by UV/Vis at a wavelength of 290 nm for vitamin E and E acetate, and 450 for lutein and beta-carotene. Separation was carried out by gradient elution with mobile phase of acetonitrile + methylenchlorid:hexane (1:1). Flow rate of the analysis was 1 ml/min and column temperature was set at 30 řC. Volume of sample injection was 5 µl. The analysis time lasted 9 minutes. The results of the determination of the content of lutein, beta-carotene and vitamin E in...
Perception of experience of online gaming in connection with addictive behaviour
Hrdinová, Petra ; Vacek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vondráčková, Petra (referee)
Introduction: the playing of massively multiplayer online role - playing games (MMORPG) has been connected with computer technologies for few years. Despite the fact that the addiction on online role playing game is not officially in MKN - 10, it takes after gaming disorder following place within behavioral addictions. Aim: the main aim of the work was to describe the perception of subjective experience of gamers playing online games. Research questions regarded types of experience of gamers, incidence of addiction behavior, gamers differences in experience with and without addiction symptoms. Final question concerned gamers ability to be aware of addiction behavior. Methods and sample: the intentional sampling was used to obtain participants, including snow ball method through informants. Subsequently semistructured interviews were carried out. All participants filled out the record sheet showing sociodemographic data and questionairre of online gaming addiction. The research group consist of 9 participants, their mean gaming time was 15 hours per week, the participants ranged in age from 17 to 40 years. Results: from the interviews taken a few themes emerged. Subjective gamer's experience were positive and negative, positive dominated by most of gamers. In context of experience, the majority...
