Receivables Management in a Corporation

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of business relation receivables in a selected business corporation. The focus is put on existing methods of recievables management. Based on the results of selected indicators of financial analysis and analysis of receivables in the corporation, new measures and procedures are proposed, to help achieve a more effective receivables management systém and to eliminate the number of overdue receivables.

Assessment system of nurses and optimization of its efficiency in a chosen medical institution

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of general nurses assessment in a chosen medical institution. The theoretical part focuses on human resource management, especially on staff appraisal and staff motivation. Moreover, one part describes the profession of a general nurse including basic legislation. The practical part consist of results of qualitative research. The research was carried out via semi-structured interviews. The data was then processed using topic analysis. The research results have brought the following findings, answered the research questions and revealed other topics and connections which were not primarily the major focus of the research. Getting to know internal documents related to staff appraisal and staff performance affects the actual use of the stated guidelines both by staff and executives. Factors which affect satisfaction of nurses include physical and mental difficulty of their job, workplace, work-related relationships, trust among staff and their awareness, feedback, competence specification, and responsibility of all staff members. Healthy lifestyle of nurses in different working conditions

This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of healthy lifestyles of nurses working in various working conditions. The theoretical part brings an overview of principles of the healthy lifestyle. Besides, the first part also explains particular health determinants and risk factors which have a substantial influence on the mental and physical wellbeing of an individual. The thesis also depicts the current role of nurses. The empirical part consists of results of qualitative research focusing on healthy lifestyle and stress of nurses working in various conditions. The research was carried out in the form of a structured interview. Data has been processed via open coding. Using triangulation, the results of the survey have been compared with earlier studies dealing with similar topics. The following issues have been revealed. Nurses tend to belittle their health problems. Furthermore, most nurses suffer from fatigue and their perfect idea of rest is always connected with a passive way of relaxing. Nurses are also exposed to a whole range of stressors. Their working environment is on one hand a source of stress but on the other hand a source of energy.
