Hruzová, Dominika
This Bachelor thesis processes the issue of motivation of volunteers at the non-profit organization Home-Start. It aims to identify key motivating factors that affect volunteers to carry out voluntary activities. In the sub-objectives, the work is dedicated to identifying internal and external motivating factors and, last but not least, identifies which of these factors have the greatest share of long-term exposure to the selected non-profit organisation. The work is made up of two parts. In the first part I defined theoretical background using professional sources, which is important to clarify and understand the empirical part of the thesis. The theoretical part defines the issue of volunteering, describes the sector of non-profit organizations, it is also devoted to psychological motivation, motivational factors and specifies the motivation for volunteering. In the empirical part, quantitative research is processed using a questionnaire – Volunteer Functions Inventory, which examines the level of individual motivating factors to fulfill the main goal of the Bachelor thesis. The results of this research are then interpreted in the conclusion of this work.
