Modelling of the disperion properties of the atmosphere in vertical and slant direction
Holub, Josef ; Látal,, Jan (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the propagation of the optical beam through the Earth's atmosphere in the vertical and oblique directions. The work describes the properties of the Earth's atmosphere and parameters of atmosphere and its effects on the propagation of the optical beam, especially the optical dispersion. As part of the work, a model of optical beam propagation through the atmosphere was created in two versions, script and user-graphic. The model was created in the MATLAB environment and allows to draw the profile of the refractive index of the environment for the specified wavelength of radiation, it contains other graphical and numerical outputs.

Audio amplifier with PWM modulation for laboratory measurements
Holub, Josef ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper deals with the theoretical analysis of the essential parts of amplifier operating in Class D. It describes the principles and the relationship between the individual blocks. The second part deals with the design of the block connection of a switched amplifier for a laboratory device. The design part contains calculations, justification of the selection of individual components and integrated circuits and schematic connection within the individual blocks. Some blocks are simulated using PSpice and FilterFree. The work also deals with the structural design of the jig and the creation of a 3D model. The annex is contained overall diagram of an amplifier and a complete reference material for production.

Hooligans in Czech republic
Holub, Josef ; Hudík, Marek (advisor) ; Rod, Aleš (referee)
This work ananlyzes behavior of football hooligans in Czech republic. We focus especially on the question why do the Czech hooligans involve in riots and fights more than their British counterparts. Not long ago, the British hooligans belonged to the most dangerous hooligans in Europe. We show what was behind the change of their behavior and thus caused that the stadium became a safe place to watch a football game. We try to determine whether these measures are generally applicable within the economic approach to behaviour. The practical part tries to find out how this problem is faced by the Czech Football Association and major league clubs and whether to fight this problem is for them feasible at all. In the final part. I suggest measures that could help to solve the problem with hooligans.
