Application of the anti-smoking law in hospitals and its repercussion on the attitudes and smoking of health professionals

This diploma thesis deals with mapping of the situation in three Prague hospitals after the introduction of the smoke-free law, the differences in the procedure of introducing changes due to the law in hospitals that are members of The Global Network for Tobacco Free Healthcare Services (GNTH) and one common hospital, on the problematics of smoking among medical staff and its attitude towards smoke-free law. The theoretical part describes the prevalence of smoking in the Czech Republic, the prevalence of smoking of health professionals in the Czech Republic and the prevalence of smoking of health professionals in international comparison. It deals with smoking as the main health risk factor, the Network of Non-Smoking Hospitals and in the last part the legal anchoring of the smoke-free law and its international comparison again. In the research part, the implementation of the law in three Prague hospitals and attitudes to the law, both for health care workers and representatives of hospital management, are examined using a combination of a questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. Using tobacco products in the staff of the Královské Vinohrady Teaching Hospital Prague

In this bachelor thesis called "Using tobacco products in the staff of the Královské Vinohrady Teaching Hospital" I focused mainly on smoking status of employees of the Královské Vinohrady Teaching Hospital (FNKV) and Third Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in a process of inclusion of this hospital to the European Network of Non-smoking Hospitals and the level of providing brief interventions in smoking patients. In the first theoretical part, I describe strategies aimed at the control of tobacco products and treatment of tobacco dependence in a scope of the activities of WHO and EU, the control of tobacco products and legislation in the Czech Republic, important organisations such as Society for the treatment of tobacco dependence etc.. Moreover I focus on prevalence of tobacco use in the whole population of the Czech Republic, on use of tobacco in students of medicine and health professionals.I introduce the most often used forms of tobacco.. Yehuda Amichai - Poetry in the light of Traditional Jewish Literature Marie Holá The present work named Yehuda Amichai - poetry in the light of traditional Jewish literature addresses the relationship between religious texts of Judaism and essentially secular and modern poetry of one of the greatest poets of Hebrew language. The text contains more than twenty newly translated poems and through their analysis tries to capture the creative principles and key topics of the poet's work.
