Possibilities of utilization fiber-based and secondary easy-renewable raw sources in the production of lightweight building materials

The diploma thesis dealt with the possibilities of of utilization fiber-based and secondary easy-renewable raw sources in the production of lightweight building materials. The theoretical part includes literature search of the researches, which dealt with this issue. Appropriate sources of fibers were selected within the theoretical part and the findings were used in the practical part of the thesis. Within the practical part laboratory measurements and subsequent selection of the most suitable fibers were performed. Laboratory measurements and subsequent selection of the most suitable fibers were performed in the practical part. Subsequently, designs of thermal insulating plasters (with the possibility of using as repairing plasters) were made on the basis of lightweight glass aggregate, to which the production of test specimens was connected. Laboratory tests were performed on fresh and hardened mortars and subsequently evaluated. In conclusion, an economic evaluation and assessment of the competitiveness of the proposed plasters was carried out.

Influence of thermal and moisture loads on the behavior of thermal insulation and repair materials based on silicates

Bachelor thesis dealt with the study of thermal insulating and repairing materials based on silicates. The theoretical part includes a literature search of conducted researches, which x focused on the development of thermal insulating and repairing plasters with low thermal conductivity, including the study of their hygrothermal behaviour and modification of capillary activity. Futher there is a description of the hygrothermal behaviour of building materials with the expansion of this issue on porous materials. The knowledge from theoretical part was used in the experimental part, particularly at designing recipes. According to the designed recipes there were blended samples of plasters on which were subsequently tested selected properties. The results were put into context with the results of the research teams from a literature search.

Improvement Suggestion of Evaluation System in the Engineering Firm

Bachelor’s thesis is focused on staff evaluation problems. At the theoretical level it is focused on special knowledge and the latest trends in the area of staff evaluation. On the basis of literary survey there is analysed and consequently evaluated the current system of evaluation in an engineering company. The analytical part contains also the staff opinion research concerning the current system of evaluation. On the basis of background research there is elaborated an improvement suggestion of the evaluation system, which aims to contribute to more effective way of leading the job performance.

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rozvoje konkurenceschopnosti obchodní firmy v Brně. V teoretické rovině je zaměřena na odborné poznatky a nejnovější trendy v oblasti strategie a konkurenceschopnosti. Na základě literárního průzkumu analyzuje a zhodnocuje stávající přístup k strategickému plánování v dané společnosti. V rámci analytické části je provedena strategická analýza firmy. Na základě literární rešerše a strategické analýzy je zpracován návrh strategie, který si klade za cíl přispět k efektivnějšímu řízení interních procesů, systematičtějšímu přístupu ke strategickému plánování a v konečném důsledku k zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti firmy.

The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the topic of financial literacy of secondary school students. It consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is processed based on the study of professional publications, strategic documents and professional articles. Describes financial literacy, division, standards and methodological recommendations for teaching. It also deals with the structure, history and principles of financial education. It also focuses on extracurricular entities to raise awareness in the world of finance. The practical part verifies the level of theoretical knowledge of students in the last years of secondary school and gymnasium using a didactic test.

Childhood and teenage years of Karl the VI. of Schwarzenberg

The goal of this work is to describe the childhood and teenage years of Karl the VI. of Schwarzenberg (1911 ? 1986), according to what his own personal diaries say about his life and personality. The aristocratic upbringing was rather unique in each family, often with roots and traditions reaching centuries to the past, and a great emphasis was laid on honoring of such traditions. Karel the Sixth lived his childhood in the early 20th century when many political changes took place, which had a very essential effect on aristocracy and their place in society. The goal of this work is to find out if, and how much such political changes had an effect on his personal life, and life if his immediate relatives. A direct and comparative method was used when this work had been written. The work has a biographical basis created by an analysis of a source of ersonal nature.

Valuation of the project

The bachelor's thesis deals with the financial evaluation of a fictitious investment project, which deals with the establishment of the garden center Zahradnictví Pomněnka. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part presents selected static and dynamic evaluation methods. The bachelor thesis also deals with financial statements and marketing tools. In the practical part, selected methods are applied to a fictitious investment project. In the end, a recommendation is formulated for the investor with regard to the obtained data.

The utilization of the potential of the Pardubice Region for the development of tourism

The utilization of the potencial of Pardubice region for the development of tourism Abstract The bachelor tesis analyses the tourism in Pardubice region and evaluates it using statistical data and results of the qualitative research in the region The statistical data are related to other indicators in tourism and compared with other regions in the Czech Republic. Alongside it analyses destination managment results in the area. The final part is constituted as a tourism product proposition for the region which reacts to the contemporary trends in the world and internal tourism. This way the tesis clarifies many terms from tourism, destination managment, qualitative research and statistical indicators. The goal of the tesis is to disprove the fact of Pardubice region being an outsider of Czech tourism and make use of the gastrotourism potential in the area.
