Role of song lyrics in the time of a stagnant interest in poetry

The Bachelor's thesis on the topic of The role of song lyrics in the time of a stagnant interest in poetry consists of two parts. The main aim of the first part is to demonstrate the song poetry in the context of the science of music and literature. Actually, it describes specific features and a phenomenon of folk songs from the theoretical point of view. The second part of the Bachelor's thesis is a research resulting from a pre-research with the main aim to find out who is considered to be a folk singer for today's society. The pre-research is followed by the main research that should show the current role of song lyrics. Both researches were achieved by the short questionnaire and they claimed that nowadays the best-known folk singer is Jaromir Nohavica. Furthermore, it was found out that the role of song lyrics is really significant since they are almost the only way how poetry comes into contact with a broad society.

Tato práce, ačkoli se pokouší o jisté uchopení, zdaleka nemůže obsáhnout ani hloubku ani šíři problému, jímž se badatelé intenzivně zabývají více než jedno století, tj. mýtu. Snaží se alespoň rozpoznat a pojmenovat některé z "mytických" ("s mýtem souvisejících", "mající s mýtem společné rysy") aspektů ve zkoumaném textu - v Nekonečném příběhu. Literary-didactic potential of Capek's Apocryphs

The main aim of this thesis is to show the didactic potential of the Apocryphal Tales by Karel Capek as well as to suggest the possible ways to include it in the high school literature education. The theoretical part of this thesis mainly deals with the author - Karel Capek and the concept of the Apocryph. These theoretical chapters study the Apocryphal Tales in detail, especially, focusing on the origin of the book and the existing editions, content and formal analysis, author's work with the intertexture and artistic progress used by Karel Capek. The special part is dedicated to the possible reasons of underestimation of the Apocyrph within author's other works. The practical part targets the didactical potential of the Apocryph. There are described the possibilities of the work with all the texts and possible ways how to work with the idea of Apocryph. The crucial part shows the detailed analysis of the didactical potential of seven selected texts integrated with extended commentary to the structure of this chapter. Another very important part pursues the verification of didactical potential of one of the Apocryph in the framework of secondary school education. The empirical part in focused on four projects, which I made in 2009/2010 school year with the pupils of second class of primary school in the after-school club. Prosaic works of contemporary Czech authors for children of pre-school age

This diploma thesis is focused on the titles of the contemporary Czech authors of the books for the preschool children. The main target of the thesis is to find and recommend the valuable children's books (published after year 2000) to the preschool teachers, parents and other educators, with the main emphasis on the esthetic, literary-didactic and educational quality aspects. In the theoretical part of the thesis I aimed on the characteristics of the preschool child in relation to reading. I was mainly interested in child's psychological development in the context with the examined issue. The theoretical part of the thesis also provides the definition of the prereaders period and terms of non-reader and prereader are explained here. Prosaic genres intended to this age group are also examined in this part of the thesis. Criteria for selection of children's books by the adults and the knowledge of five book titles are examined through the questionnaire survey. The practical (analytical) part of the thesis contains the analysis of the selected children's books ("Medvídek Kuma" by Martina Skala, "Už se nebojím tmy," "Kozí knížka" by Tereza Říčanová, "Jak Cílek Lídu našel" by František Skála and "Dobrodružství pavouka Čendy" by Pavel Čech) according to the predefined criteria. Locomotor expression of poems with pre-school children

The object of my disertation is connection poetry and locomotion with pre-school children. The goal of my research is realize, which poems and motions are prefered by children and what is the reason of their choose. The methods in my dissertation are interview, experiment and observation. All of these methods detect relation of children to poetry and locomotion. I have discovered the interesting style of work with pre-school children. The children have appreciated various language and form resources. I have discovered, that children love particularly dynamical and simple activities, which enable maximum discharge of energy. I will trying to choose the poetry and locomotion, which is the nearest for pre- school age.I hope, that my discovered will be interesting inspiration for teacher in kindergarten.
Comics for pre-primary and primary age

The main topic of the graduation thesis is the genre of comics and its dismemberment about different criteria. This graduation thesis is concerned with the beginning and the progression in Czech Republic and in the world. There is the emphasis on the history of the classical comics and its specificity for pre-school and younger school age. The graduation thesis suggests group of ideas and games, it maps the current comics production on the pages of contemporary periodicals.
Influence of family and kindergarten on reading comprehension and literacy development of preschool children

The Master Degree Thesis focuses on the issue of pre-reading literacy and ways of its possible development in childhood. Its starting point is the fact that time devoted to reading aloud to children as well as encouraging them in playing with books is vital for their development and should be an inseparable part of a language learning process. The Thesis points at the imporant role of parents as well as kindergarten teachers in the process. Project "Every Czech Reads to Kids" is introduced. The aim of the last chapter is to show the educational process in the field of pre-reading literacy in particular Czech kindergartens. Role of parents is discussed, too.
