Own literary work with comment
Řídká, Milena ; Hník, Ondřej (advisor) ; Peterka, Josef (referee)
The bachelor thesis Vlastní literární tvorba s komentářem (Author's Literary Work with a Commentary) consists of three main parts. First, the author presents her own fairytale named Zvědavé koťátko (Nosy Kitten) in prose as well as a poetry. The fairytale is aimed at preschool children, first written as prose, later made into a poem. The second part consists of author's commentary, concerning the creation process of the piece of work. The author informs about the characters of the story, goals of the text, as well as the final touches to the piece of work. There are three assessments of the work, in the third part of the thesis. There is a literary expert opinion, an opinion of a preschool teacher (a person who knows well the target age-group), and a layman opinion. The final part of the thesis is a reflection on the three opinions mentioned above.

Čížková, Karla ; Hník, Ondřej (advisor) ; Hausenblas, Ondřej (referee)
The main aim of this thesis is to provide the reader with the overview of the work of female authors of lyrics and show the topics they are mainly interested in. The partial aim is to find out if some specific female topics and specific female expression and language exist. The core of the work is commented antology of texts. There are included texts of authors who are authors of music and interprets concurrently, who have been working in ten last years and released at least one CD. I come to the conclusion that women are writing mostly about partner relationships, love as a special kind of emotion, family and maternity and also their own position in world, faith and sexuality. Typical of female authors is that they view at the things as if men could not understand the same topics. Specific is also language of female authors and motives they use as the means of expression: they are particulary delicate and tender images and metaphores, intuitive and playful puns. In some texts women try to oppose the stereotype of women putting the text into typicaly mens ambience and using "mens" dictionary.

Without us being directly aware of it, it is a constant but at the same time changeable part of our being. The sea is an important cultural point of reference and a rich symbol. The subject of The Phenomenon of the Sea - Photography and the Description of the Sea in Selected Art Forms has thus been consciously chosen in reference to the individual imagination. In the chapters entitled Work 1-7, I present my artistic and pedagogical works from the years 2009-2013, along with descriptions of their origins and genesis. Petr Skarlant and Karel Sýs prefer a less precise translation enriched with their own invention. Gustav Francl tends rather to the reproducing concept, but we would describe his style more as modernizing. To create sufficiant information foundations for the analysis of translations, the whole first part of the dissertation is dedicated to the theory of artistic translation, the personage of Guillaume Apollinaire, the analysis of Zone and the personages of the Czech translators. Poetics of Tomáš Klus Lyrics
Prchalová, Tereza ; Hník, Ondřej (advisor) ; Peterka, Josef (referee)
Resume There are two Klus's professions, acting and music, intertwined in the album Racek by the means of the songs inspired by Chekhov's play of the same name. By that connection, there aroused highly respected songs in the Czech music scene. Together with other pieces, they create a lexicon of Klus's peculiar and nowadays highly popular poetics, which is formed especially by frequent metaphors, set phrases, defamiliarization, intertextuality, author's words and expressive, derogatory, bookish, antiquated, diminutive, regional and borrowed expressions. Though his songs consist of various automatized expressions, his lyrics as a unit appear to be original and sincere, and, at the same time, they are understandable for common audience, because he transfers colloquial speech and generally known expressions into them.
