Family is the staple part of society and state. Its basic functions are reproductive and sexual function, social-economic, emotional function and socialization. This social unit is affected by many factors. Also because of their influence, family has lost much of its original status. State tries to support families through financial support, suitable housing policy, as well as in the area of employment relationships. In spite of all this, less and less people get married and vice versa, the number of divorces rises. Now, so-called singles have also entered our society. Bad relationships in family, or its break up, have very negative impact on child development. The presence of a father is of crucial importance. The father can work as the best prevention from the delinquency of children and youth. Well spent free time also has a great impact on the future of children. It is very difficult to put a finger on what has to be changed, but the true is that this change is crucial for development of the Czech society.

Dufalová, Zdeňka ; Havlík, Radomír (advisor) ; Kubišová, Zuzana (referee)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to describe the division of the roles in a family in three different historical periods - in a pre-industrial period, a post-industrial period and at last, the division of the family roles in the period from the end of the World War II up to the present is described. To characterize the family models in particular periods I use specialized literature, which deals with the historical development of a Czech and European family, with the importance of a family and with the position of all members in a family in a specified period. In the chapter, which discusses a post-modern family, I compare data from some empirical researches, which were carried out in the Czech Republic in the time period from the 1990s up to the present and which deal with family roles division and also with some respondents' opinions on this issue. I will try to find out, how these opinions have during this period changed.

Image of Singles in Magazine Harper's Bazaar and in Magazine Maxim
Workers Party 2003 - 2009
Procházková, Alena ; Stracený, Josef (advisor) ; Havlík, Radomír (referee)
Resume This thesis is focused on an extreme right-wing party called Workers Party. Its actions and proclamations of its leaders are often on the very fine line between what is legal and illegal. Although labelled as a democratic party, its connections to neonacist groups imply its tendency to opose the system as such. The Supreme Administrative Court is currently hearing a case based on the goverrnental proposal to abolish this party. This thesis offers a complex analysis of the Workers Party. The theoretical first part analyses political parties, explains the view points of subject on the right and left wing and characterises the ideological viewpoint of the extreme right-wing parties in particular. The second part is focused on the Workers Party as such. The overview of the history of this party since its foundation in 2003 up to now is followed by my analysis of its political program and of its leaders' proclamations. Further, there is an examination of the Workers Party's connection to other extreme right wing subjects. 97
