Transformation of czech cuisine from the time of Magdalena Dobromila Rettigova to current trends of healthy lifestyle

The thesis focuses on the topic of changing eating habits from the time of Magdalena Dobromila Rettigová to contemporary trends of healthy lifestyle. It is a gradual development of eating from the late 18th century to the present. In the thereoretic part there is a discription of the contrast of the Czech writer's life and a present-day lifestyle. We can find a chapter about a life of Magdalena Dobromila Rettigová, background information leading up to, writing the cook book "Cooking at home", which became a convenient handbook for women, containing instructions and directions for kitchen guidance and complex advice for women how to manner as a wife, mother and patriot and also their influence on education of young girls. Next chapter deal with the development of kitchen and cooking, habits connected with dining and lifestyle of that time. In the end of the theoretic part is compared the cuisine of the first half ofthe 19 th century to contemporary eating habits and lifestyle. Nutrition of School Children

The healthy and right food plays a very important role in everybody's life. It works as a prevention of many diseases of civilization. Good nutrition can contribute to improve life quality. It gives a longer life and we stay more healthy. The most important thing in forming healthy eating habits is our own family. The next important factor is a school where children spend a lot of time. They create their own views and habits there. There are usually canteens at schools which offer some food to pupils. This dissertation is focussed on basic nutrients, education for a healthy lifestyle and the eating habits of pupils from 6 to 16 years at basic schools. I will also look into which food is preferred by pupils - healthy or unhealthy -their eating habits and the ways of their feeding. The aim of my dissertation is to find and evaluate eating habits of children of younger and older school age and detect if these children are interested in what they eat and if we can influence them by edification. In the practical part of my work I'd like to find out through a questionnaire what children at basic school know about healthy nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. Selected schools' students' awareness of selected types of nutraceuticals

The main topic of this work is food supplements, their legislation and other theory connected with them, the main focus is on plant nutraceuticals, of which are chosen food supplements marketed to support immunity system - echinacea, sea buckthorn and oyster mushroom, food supplements to support psyche - St. John's wort, ginkgo and valerian and dietary supplements to support body fitness - tribulus, garcinia and psyllium. Subsequently, the topic focuses on the marketing of nutraceuticals, its modern ways and the possibilities of increasing the students' awareness in this field through the principles of media education. In the practical part, 112 students aged 15-19 are presented with a lecture presenting the topic and inviting students to raise their interest in the subject. The feedback of the lecture is provided by a questionnaire whose questions correspond to the hypotheses set by the author. Knowledge about reproductive health at stage 2 of the selected primary school

This master thesis focuses on the knowledge of reproductive health among middle schoolers in the targeted middle schools in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of my work, I define the term of reproduction health, describe physiology of female and male genitals, disorders in reproductive health, and types of methods -natural invasive- offered by anticonception. Another part of my thesis concerns on reproductive health related to a prostitution, and a sexual abuse, and pregnancy impact on teenage girls' bodies during pubescence. I track the representation of teaching reproductive health in middle schools through RSVP and its main goals in certain areas and key competencies. The goal of my thesis was to map out the knowledge of reproductive health among the students who have been taught this knowledge through a class. As a research methodology, I used a survey that was distributed among middle schoolers in the sixth to eight grades. The results of my survey show that the eighth graders have the most amount of knowledge about reproductive health, but somehow still lower than one might expect. Stress research of teachers of selected elementary schools

In 2003 The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) in Prague carried out project of health promotion entitled "Reducing the risk of mental workload of teachers in primary schools and the possibility of objectification." The research was conducted in collaboration with 17 randomly selected elementary schools in Prague (the total population of 157 female teachers over 40 years. The research was consisted of three parts: questionnaire survey, interview and collection of medical data (hypertension, cholesterol, obesity, smoking). This diploma thesis follows up on this research, but within the available options it deals only with questionnaire survey (without collection of medical data). In 2016, a questionnaire survey was conducted among the teachers of selected elementary schools, and 604 questionnaires were filled out, and it was monitored whether teachers were taught at primary schools or schools involved in the Health Promotion School. In the theoretical part, the diploma thesis deals with various theoretical approaches to stress, coping strategies and analysis of stressors that are specific to the teaching profession.
