Art Therapy Workshop with Pre-school Children (and several sings of creative expression in this age)

This bachelor thesis deals with pre-school chidren, their creative expression and development of creative image making, especially under art therapy guidance. The theoretical part describes psychological development during the pre-school period.It specificall addresses developing competencies in the motor, cognitive and emotional spheres. It includes several generally known models of ontogeny related to the development of creative expression and describes lexical semiotics of childrensartworks. The practical part includes a case study of a child, that was monitored while attending art therapy workshops in kindergarten. It documents possibilities of art ifluence within the frame of above-standard art influence in the kindergarten enviroment. The image part contains selected works of the monitored child, in order to provide a context for the findings described in the practical part. The images form an integral part of the particular case study.
