Design of Promotion Strategie in the Hospitality Industry - a Comparable Study for the Czech Republic and Ireland

This diploma thesis entitled "Design of Promotion Strategie in the Hospitality Industry - a Comparable Study for the Czech Republic and Ireland" addresses strategic practices in different countries and further applies them. The aim was to assess whether it is possible to apply the same advertising procedures as in Ireland at domestic country. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of a semi-structured interview with a Irish resident working in the hospitality industry and a questionnaire survey which took place in the Czech Republic. In the conclusion the are formulated specific steps inspired by Ireland which can be applied in the Czech Republic.

This bachelor's thesis with the topic "Development of a small family business" will deal with the development of the family restaurant Mazany anděl, located in the city of Brno in the South Moravian region. The intention will be innovations in terms of improvements in the distribution of hot food and bottled wines. The company will be subjected to SWOT analysis, SLEPT analysis, Porter analysis, etc. Conclusion of this work should be the application of improvements and changes in this company.

Francis Ferdinand d'Este and Konopiště

The Bachelor thesis 'Francis Ferdinand d'Este and Konopiště' deals with the transformation of Konopiste Castle in Central Bohemia into a modern residence of the future emperor of Austria-Hungary. The thesis briefly describes the life of the Archduke from the Habsburg-Lorraine's dynasty and also the history of his mansion including all the important changes during the years before it was bought. The greatest attention is given to the reconstruction works during Francis Ferdinand's years - not only to the reconstruction works that were already implemented, but also to those that had been planned, but which could never have been realised because of the assassination in Sarajevo and the outbreak of World War I.The faith of Francis Ferdinand's children and the destiny of the castle in the 20th century are briefly mentioned in the conclusion.

Leopold Sternberg, the life of Austria-Hungarian aristocrat during the 20th century

This dissertation depicts a life of Leopold Sternberg who was representative of one of the most significant Czech genus. The author of this thesis focused on his personality, war experience, and social activities as well as on a circle of his closest associates. She also focused on the fate of his siblings who until now were overlooked by researchers. This dissertation tracks the condition of family property during dramatic historical changes in the first half of the 20th century when they were often found out of the ownership of Sternberg family. We are talking about the first land reformation, the forced management during Nazi era and the nationalization after the Communist putsch in Czechoslovakia. The thesis focuses on Leopold's activities in the time of Nazi threat when he clearly registered to the Czech State. Some part of the thesis is dedicated to the American ambassador in Czechoslovakia Laurence A. Steinhardt. His fate was closely connected to at one point with the Sternberg one. The author has tried to profile the fate of Leopold Sternberg and his family after moving in abroad where he died in 1957. Bachelor thesis entitled Environmental education and awareness in the House children and youth capital city of Prague is divided into three basic parts. In the first part of the was mapped area of environmental education and awareness, which is an overview of the history, basic objectives, forms and methods of environmental education. The second part was mapped the history of the House children and youth capital city of Prague and the current state of environmental education in this school equipment. The third part contains a survey to assess ensure environmental education in other the houses children and youth and subsequent processing of proposals that would lead to improving the state of the environmental education in the house children and youth of capital city Prague.
