Poetics of Russian rock

This paper is dedicated to the phenomenon of Russian culture and literature of the last third of the 20th century, specifically, Russian rock poetry. In particular, this paper draws attention to the text of Russian rock poetry which allows the literary scholars to talk about the existence of rock poetry as such. This topic is not reflected in Russian philology and is practically omitted in the Czech one. The paper deals with the history and the conditions of the origination of Russian rock and is concerned with the analysis of the characteristic features of rock poetry, its sources and themes. The research is based on the analysis of musical texts of the most important rock authors: A. Bashlachev, B. Grebenshchikov, A. Makarevich, V. Tsoi and Y. Shevchuk.
The Russian nights of V . F. Odoyevsky

The Russian Nights of V. F. Odoyevsky Abstract The theme of this bachelor thesis is a book of Russian author and philosopher Vladimir Odoyevsky, who lived in 19th century in Romantic Period. This book was his most important work and he named it The Russian Nights. The symbol of this title and the others motives are part of this work, same as author's view on human being. Odoyevsky has different heroes with the same type of substance and for them he creates different situations, in which is formed the contrast of the brilliant mind of his main characters and ability to perform their talent. Readers can see heroes' way of living in society, when their extraordinary ideas have never realized. The type of hero - insane genius is a typical for Odoyevsky and this element was an inspiration for all great authors in Russian literature in 19th century. Influence of Radishchev 's reference on chosen russian authors of the 19th century

This Bachelor Thesis is based on a well-known fact, specifically, continuity and allusion, which are really important features of Russian classical literature. In other words, the principle, that the authors of different times were making open dialogues between each other. In the thesis the work The Journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow written by Aleksander Nikolayevich Radishchev is analyzed. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the period of time the book originates from, specifies closer the genre, notices the acceptance of it by critics of that times. And finally it also follows up Radishchev's political opinions that can be easily perceived as an irreconcilable dispute between two main personalities associated with the ideas of Enlightenment - reformer of society Radishchev and Catherine II, reigning empress. In practical part, there are found, based on comparative analysis of complex of short stories The Hunting Sketches by Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev and The Pit by Aleksandr Ivanovich Kuprin, some connections and similarities with respect to Radishchev's ideas. Childhood motiv in Marina Tzvetaeva's work

Abstract. The aim of the thesis is to research an image of a child as a small human being and an image of childhood as a condition of a human soul in the literarily works of a celebrated Russian poetess Marina Tsvetaeva. The poems being researched are written in various periods of Tsvetaeva's literary career, in which she touches upon the subject of childhood. The work concentrates on comparative analyses of selected literature and it should be observed, that the object of the analysis is only a small fraction of lyric poems, which on the whole amount to more than a thousand. There is an attempt to follow the development and changes in the theme of children and childhood in the process of creative evolution and maturity of the poetess. Due to the fact, that thesis concentrates on pomes from different periods of poetess' life, the goal is to support hypothesis that the leitmotif of childhood was one of the most important in Tsvetaeva's creative outlook. Krylov 's fables translated by Hana Vrbová

The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of a fable, a unique genre of literature. More specifically, it analyses Hana Vrbová's translations of fables written by Krylov .The paper is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on fable in general, its history, tradition in Russian literature, and particularity of I. A. Krylov's work. The paper also provides a variety of idioms, phrases and aphorisms which are contained in the writer's fables and also became commonly used in Russian. Final chapter of the theoretical part is focused on translations of Krylov's fables in connection with the history of translation from Russian literature into Czech from the period of the Czech National Liberation period to the present time. The practical part analyses translations of the most defining characteristics in the fables such as idioms, geographic names, titles, names of animals and people, rhythm and metre. Those are further compared with their original forms. Moreover, the final part compares older translations by Hana Vrbová with the 2011 work made by Milan Dvořák.
