Analyses of the Compressed Air Energy Storage proces in Ansys Fluent system

This bachelor thesis discusses different types of energy storage in the introduction. It describes the different technologies, their functions, advantages and disadvantages. It compares them on the basis of the ESOI ratio, which is the ratio of energy stored on invested. The main type of energy storage covered in the term paper is compressed air energy storage. The thesis describes the principle of a method of energy storage as well the companies and projects that are working on or using this technology. Furthermore, the issue of heat energy loss during air compression is outlined, which leads to a significant reduction in efficiency. The last part of the thesis is a practical part, which uses a model example to show the temperature and pressure evolution during the pumping of air into the storage tank.

Granite in the Světlá nad Sázavou area

The diploma thesis summarizes the basic data about the geological structure of the wider area of Světlá nad Sázavou, acquaints with the history of granite mining in this territory and deals with the didactic use of the information found in the school and in the field. Author performing an excursion to the active quarry Horka with pupils of the 6th and 9th year of elementary school. The pupils' current knowledge of geological structures in the vicinity of Světlá nad Sázavou was verified before the excursion and after graduation the levels of knowledge were determined again. We found that it is possible to see if it is possible to carry out an evaluation, to test whether any further information is available. It was prepared for the pupils on a worksheet for a project day. For a closer acquaintance with granite and their suitable mind maps and didactic games, to fulfill materials (crossword, quad, memory, domino). Design Of The Shape Of The Experimental Chamber For The Analysis Of The Pressure Layout In The Differential Pumped Chamber

This article is based on a study of Dr. Danilatos, where pumping of the differential pumped chamber is solved using the Monte Carlo statistical method. Similar results were obtained using the Ansys Fluent system. Theoretical computations as Dr. Danilatos and comparative studies are performed on theoretical shape. Simulations were made to obtain the shape of an experimental chamber with complete pumping shapes so that its shaping and pumping would ensure such a flow of gas to ensure the same distribution of pressure in the experimental chamber in the area under investigation as in the theoretical shape.

The role of cell size in body size change in animals

Animals are very variable in body size. Differences in body size are visible not only at the interspecific level but also within species, whether they are differences in size during ontogeny or among individuals of the same species exposed to different environmental conditions. The size of the organism depends on the size and number of the basic units from which it is built, i.e. the cells. From this perspective body size can be changed only in three ways: by changing the cell size, by changing the number of cells, or by combining these two mechanisms. It is assumed that during development an individual can be affected by many environmental factors that can alter cell size and/or cell number. The most discussed one is the environmental temperature. Quite often, organisms that live or develop at low temperatures reach larger body sizes, and it was repeatedly found that the body size increase is associated with increase in cell size. In addition to temperature, the size and number of cells, and consequently the body size, can be affected for example by oxygen concentration or by quality of nutrition. Environmental factors can interact with each other and often it cannot be clearly stated that changes in size or number of cells are caused only by one particular factor. Controlling and his role in enterprise management

The presented work focuses on controlling and its place in the enterprise management of Intertell spol. s r. o. The thesis is devided into theoretical and practical part. In the first theoretical part the terms of controlling, the controller are defined and there are types of controlling according to the business activities defined there too. The chapter also includes selected tools and methods of controlling.
In the practical part there is the Intertell spol. s r. o. company description given which is followed by a subsequent analysis carried out of the external and internal environment of the company. In the course of the text the production activities of the enterprise are being described. Subsequently, the author conducts the analysis of current controlling management of the enterprise and the findings are summarized in the conclusion chapter.
In the proposal part, the author recommends improvements in management of the enterprise by the introduction of the internal accounting, proposes to monitor the profitability of individual projects and also recommends an increase in the number controllers in the enterprise.
