Robot Control with Voice Commands

This bachelor's thesis describes design and development of a robot voice control application aiming at platform PR2. It explains the procecess of voice recognition and describes the robot operating system as a target platform. The application uses library Sphinx-4 to translate speech to text, which is than published in ROS. In the end, the set of tests is described. Tests discovered, that the best way to control robot with a few simple commands is developing own grammar.

Manufacturing of wall clamp

The project in this bachelor thesis solves a proposal of technology of a wall clamp manufacture. The part will be made of rolled coils (5 mm thick), from steel 11 373 in production of 150 000 pieces a year. Shearing and bending were the most optimal methods chosen from the considered manufacture technologies. The literary study is devoted to the study of chosen technologies. Based on the technological calculations, a transfer combined tool was suggested. According to the size of the overall mould force, an eccentric press LKDR 315 was chosen. This press reaches nominal force of 3150 kN.

Production of casing

This master’s project describes a proposal for manufacturing technology of a horizontal boring machine case. This case is manufactured by HESTEGO a.s. from a DC01 steel sheet, which is 2 mm thick and its production series is 200 pieces a year. Punching and bending were chosen as the most suitable methods from the considered manufacturing technologies. The theoretical part of the thesis includes a study of the chosen manufacturing technologies. Based on the analysis of the technological calculations and the available tools in the manufacturing company, a technological procedure was designed and these machines were chosen: punching machine TruPunch 5000 a servo-electronic press brake SAFAN E – BRAKE 100–3100. Technical and economical evaluation is also included in the proposal.

Vehicle Speed Estimation from Video

This master's thesis describes design and development of an application for estimation of vehicle speed from both recorded video file and from camera stream. It explains the procecess of a camera calibration, vehicle detection and tracking and describes the robot operating system as a target platform. The application uses library OpenCV for most of tasks, to access video application uses a FFmpeg library. Results can be printed to the terminal window, they can also be logged to a file or published in ROS. Application is written in C++ language, some parts in Python.

Design of the heating system for an office building

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design the heating and hot water supply system for an administrative building in the town Pelhřimov. The building consists of four above-ground floors and one underground floor, which is not heated. The heating is provided by panel radiators, pipe radiators, and underfloor convectors. The heat source consists of a cascade of two gas boilers. The hot water preparation is ensured by an indirect storage water heater. The system operates as a two-pipe system with forced water circulation. The pipes are made of insulated copper.

Methodology of Research, Revision and Passporting of Historical Library Collections

The aim of the methodology is to present a clear synthetic guide and tool for the care of the historical book collection, its analysis in terms of content, chronology and provenance and its synthesizing evaluation in the form of a study. In addition to a comprehensive secondary bibliography on the issue of the historical book collection in the broadest sense and an overview of current legislation, it also contains a clear guide to the global treatment of the historical book collection according to its specific type, as well as recommendations for its long-term management and care. The methodology also includes advice on the selection of books for conservation and restoration and on ensuring appropriate storage conditions for the historic book collection.

Playing from notes based on folk songs

The diploma thesis introduces the noteplay in the form of the four handed piano - playing. 53 Czech and Moravian folk sogs were chosen and remade as the musical material. The part primo is made for a student and individual songs are progressively ordered according to their difficulty. Step by step the student learns various keys, rhythms and he gets used to closer cooperation. The part secondo is defined to the teacher.

Relation between Oral and Genital Candidiasis

Vztah mezi orální a genitální kandidózou Autoři: Valerie Burešová1 ,Aleš Leger1 , Petra Křížová1 , Spyridon Gkalpakiotis2 1. Stomatologická klinika 3. LF UK a FNKV 2. Dermatovenerologická kliniky 3. LF UK a FNKV Úvod: Kvasinkové infekce v dutině ústní a na genitálu se v populaci vyskytují poměrně často. Cílem práce bylo posoudit souvislost orální a genitální kandidózy a zhodnotit stav dutiny ústní u pacientů suspektně trpících genitální kandidózou. Dále zhodnotit frekvenci výskytu pacientů s kandidózou v praxích zubních lékařů, dentálních hygienistek, gynekologů a pediatrů; zjistit jejich přístup k těmto pacientům a jimi využívané léčiva. Metodika a materiál: Klinický výzkum byl proveden u 15 pacientů dermatovenerologické kliniky (2 ♀ a 13 ♂) suspektně trpících genitální kandidózou, kterým byly odebrány vzorky z genitálu a dutiny ústní. Kultivace kvasinek na Sabouraudově agaru probíhala 7 dní při pokojové teplotě a dle výsledků byl potvrzena nebo vyloučena kvasinková infekce. Byla zhotovena fotodokumentace projevů v dutině ústní a průběh kultivace každého z vyšetřovaných vzorků. Současně byl s pacienty podrobně probrán dotazník ohledně jejich obecných hygienických návyků. Dotazníkové šetření mezi zdravotníky proběhlo na 141 respondentech (47 zubních lékařů, 77 dentálních hygienistek, 15 pediatrů a 2...
