Framework for a Web Internet Service
Hájek, Filip ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a containerized web service, which provides the ability to create and run users' tasks. The task is only an abstraction over some particular implementation of computation. The task runs as a Docker container. The thesis also implements user management and the method of running task charging. The system architecture consists of a REST API web server and a user web environment. Worker applications are an essential component of the system. They start user tasks assigned by the server. The system was implemented using the .NET 6 framework in programming language C#. The run of the service has been simulated in a Docker environment. The service integrates existing Auth0 and Google Cloud Storage services. The result is an internet service deployed on a public cloud server.
Evaluation of Company Performance
Charvát, Daniel ; Hájek, Filip (referee) ; Režňáková, Mária (advisor)
The main objective of these thesis was to describe the theoreticle principles of the financial analysis, its function, the value of the outcome and its application possibilities. Apply this method on a czech trade company, describe the outcome and suggest recommended steps.
Preparation and characterization of Lu2Ir2O7 single crystals
Hájek, Filip ; Klicpera, Milan (advisor) ; Prchal, Jiří (referee)
Present thesis is focused on the synthesis and characterization of Lu2Ir2O7 single crystals as a part of a broader study of rare-earth A2Ir2O7 pyrochlore iridates, where A = Y, La-Lu. These materials, crystallizing in the geometrically frustrated pyrochlore lattice and with electronic properties being shaped by strong spin-orbit interaction, have attracted considerable attention of the condensed matter community. The investigation of Lu2Ir2O7 with nonmagnetic Lu3+ cations is crucial in order to reveal the physical properties connected to magnetism of solely the Ir sublattice. The physical properties connected to the Ir sublattice are essential for a proper interpretation of the complex properties of other A2Ir2O7 with magnetic rare-earth cations. For the first time, large good-quality Lu2Ir2O7 single crystals were synthesized by means of the flux method. Their stoichiometry and crystal structure were characterized by means of Laue diffraction and energy-dispersive X-ray technique. Magnetic properties were investigated employing magnetization measurements under ZFC and FC regimes. A bifurcation between ZFC and FC magnetizations was revealed at TIr = 130(1) K, indicating magnetic ordering of the Ir sublattice. Investigating single crystals, the anisotropy effects were studied for the first time. Significantly...

Deposit insurance in the European Union
Holá, Veronika ; Jakubík, Petr (advisor) ; Hájek, Filip (referee)
This thesis examines deposit guarantee schemes in the member states of the European Union. Our aim is to describe the present situation and analyze deposit insurance schemes in the context of financial safety nets. We focus mainly on cross-boarder issues and differences in deposit insurance coverage (scope, coverage limits). The paper deals mainly with changes of the rules which were introduced at the end of year 2008, and concerns with the amended Directive on Deposit Guarantee Schemes. Empirical analysis concentrates on the impact of state guarantees on the deposit grow rate in individual states. In the final part, we discuss the consequences of recent development and possible future progress.
Mean-variance & mean-VaR portfolio selection : a simulation based comparison in Czech crisis environment
Parrák, Radovan ; Seidler, Jakub (advisor) ; Hájek, Filip (referee)
This thesis focuses on two methods for optimum portfolio selection. We compare Mean-Variance method with Mean-VaR method by the means of investment simulation, based on Czech financial market data from turbulent market periods of the year 2007 and the year 2008. We theoretically describe various approaches of optimum portfolio selection within a frame of Mean-Variance as well as Mean-VaR method. Furthermore, we highlight the similarities and differences of both strategies. Finally, we compare both strategies, basing on measurements of relative and absolute profitability of both strategies in crisis periods.
Data processing procedure applicable for visualisation of FM objects in GIS environment
Hájek, Filip ; Kolář, Jan (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the use of geographic information systems in issue of facility management. Its purpose is to show the advantages of this connection, mostly the visualization and analytical capabilities of GIS. The general issues of facility management are described in the first part of the thesis - what it is about, what it brings, the most important definitions and standards are provided there. Then it continues with theory about connection with GIS and answers the question, why this cooperation is beneficial. It continues with description of importance of GIS during whole life circle of real estate. The chapter is concluded by definition of another powerful tool in FM - CAD/BIM. The fourth chapter discusses one of the important tasks of FM - passportization and its meaning. The last chapter before conclusion focuses on the practical part of thesis dealing with campus of the Czech Post in Malešice. Keywords: Facility management, GIS, passportization, visualization
